LOL wow talk about BS. Someone here on PF posted facts that showed the MSM spend 90% of its airtime being negative on Trump.

 

Why did this thread get this much attention?

Thus is someone crying about a news station airing a presidential speech.

That's sad and pathetic. Now lets move on to something at least a little less absurd.

 

Trump's a ratings magnet. The Alphabet soup networks gave him so much free air time that he whipped Hillary while only spending half the funds she did, because he was getting so much free air time.

“You deserve a senator who doesn’t just talk like he’s from Montana,” Trump said Thursday night during a combative stop in Great Falls, Montana, as he assailed Jon Tester, the conservative state’s two-term Democrat. “You deserve a senator who actually votes like he’s from Montana.”​

The president delivered a nearly identical attack on Heitkamp a week earlier in Fargo, North Dakota, in what appears destined to become a stock line as Trump visits Senate battlegrounds.

Much of the attention has been focused on Heitkamp, Manchin and Donnelly because they broke with their party last year and backed Neil Gorsuch, Trump’s first nominee to the court, showing their willingness to get behind the president’s choices. Trump racked up huge margins in their states and draws wildly enthusiastic crowds.

Other Democrat incumbents are wary as well, including Sen. Bill Nelson of Florida, who is in a difficult re-election fight with Rick Scott, the Republican governor. Nelson will need the support of Republican and independent voters to prevail, but also that of Democrat voters in Florida’s urban centers.

Another endangered Democrat incumbent, Sen. Claire McCaskill of Missouri, is viewed as highly unlikely to back any Trump nominee despite the political risk. And if Trump selects Judge Raymond Kethledge of Michigan, it could present difficulties for Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., who is seeking her fourth term in a state carried narrowly by Trump two years ago though she has so far escaped formidable competition.

Couple of thoughts lefties.
Your television and computer has an "off" switch.
Trump rallies are comedy enjoyed by millions who choose to use the "on" switch.

 

Yes, that's true.

Trump understands television, and he knows how feckless television executives are. He promised everyone a really big show. And every camera anyone could dig up showed up to put it on the air everywhere. Trump understands this. It's one thing he is really smart about.

But the fact that Fox is essentially a propoganda operation allied with the Trump White House, the concern about them being state media bear attention.

This kind of wall to wall coverage of a political leader by a major media outlet is unheard of in any democracy. It is much more akin to the way things are in totalitarian states, most notably the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany. This is not to make that comparison,. But the point out that the threat that something like that might happen in this country is something we have to be ever vigilant about.

 

Umm were you asleep between 2008 and 2016? when it wasn't just one channel but 2 cable and 3 network channels and at least a half a dozen news papers that were the propaganda arm for Obama

 

I don't recall any Fox journalist having a thrill go up their leg when Trump speaks.

 

Very few Trumpster have ever "destroyed the "educated" leftists" here or anywhere else.

When you guys rant, you're usually just parroting what you hear on some lowbrow right wing talk radio show, or its television equivilant, Fox Noise.

Trumpsters routinely make riciculous false claims, and when called out, double down on them. Failing that, you all trot out he deflections to Clinton or Obama, or repetition of the right wing campaign to undermine the investigation. Failing that, the name calling starts. Sometimes, Trumpsters knowing that they have been conned again by their con man child hero, go right to the name calling!

We don't bother watching them, so don't have to worry about the off switch... just the channel select button.. just pointing out that only 1 network considers them broadcast worthy.

I'm not commenting on the content of these "appearances".. just agreeing with OP that its interesting that only 1 network considers them newsworthy enough to air in their entirety..

 

But, but if you don't watch them, how do you know what was said and in what context?

 

Interesting analysis criteria ya got there. Is that the kind of thing you watch for on FOX?

 

As he and FOX should because it helps to somewhat level out ALL the OTHER so called news channels that don't give him a chance and smear him every chance they get. Even if Fox ran his speeches 24/7 it still wouldn't make up for all the other negative press which also includes the view, Jimmy Kimmel, and virtually every other show on. Even during his trip to Korea to discuss Nuclear disarmament, Fox was the only one that aired any news on it and that should have been a widespread event. Thank goodness Fox "Gets it."

It's disturbing actually how bad the other channels treat him and are mum when he does something awesome for the country.

 

Maybe that's the point.. most don't really care what he says at his campaign rallies. That is, until he decides to make news out of them by saying stupid things... but I can get all that in clips and not waste my time watching the rest..

There's no "context" of bad mouthing a thousand points of light because he thinks the name is too high brow for him and his cultists..

 

I am always amazed at trumpland's infinite capacity to blame the media for the words and actions of Trump hissownself. They claim they are out to get the president, because they report on the lies and bullshit, the incompetence of the adminstration, the corruption that abounds, the bigotry, the bullying, the misogyny, the boorishness, the smearing of institutions and individuals, the arse kissing of America's enemies and the trashing of its friends and allies.

Nope its all the media's fault. Yet another example of how trumpettes ALWAYS use the effect as the cause. Bass ackwards makes for a much better partisan narrative of "us against them".

Uhhh... way wrong.... The "North Korea 24 hour Summit Spectacular" was covered wall-to-wall by my news station of choice, MSNBC

They had live reporters in Singapore (sweating profusely) and covered what few public events that were offered, including Kim's late night stroll the evening before..

But you DO need to remind us everytime he does something awesome for the country as it's just so darn easy to miss...
