    This is a fascinating article.
If the world had access to the technology it would revolutionize agriculture and put a lot of chemical companies in bankruptcy.
It involves exposing seeds or eggs to an electostatic field. The result is that somehow the primitive code of the seed and eggs is awakened and the plants and animals grow huge and phenomenally productive, and all without chemical fertilizers and antibiotics.

Uh...just why would "primitive" wheat, etc. mature faster, be bigger, and more resistant to disease and even pests? Aren't those properties just what modern plants have been bred for over thousands of years?

And besides, wouldn't CIBA make lots more money off the new plants than they presently do on pesticides?

And then there's the problem of energizing chicken eggs and hatching a T.Rex ( I saw that on Red Dwarf once, with Lister's pet parakeet)

In other words, I'm really skeptical until I see more

What they are saying is that apparently the plants have lost something on their way down to the present.
Or possibly it is something about being exposed to the electrostatic field that has given them a super boost of energy.

Yes, Ciba et al do make a lot more money selling chemicals, that's why they have put all the research on the shelf.
