First, that's not what you did with your "rape or drunk driving was consequence free" straw man.

Second, due to the circumstances, the situations are not the same. If the police arrest a mother for drugs, they don't kick the kids out into the street with a "good luck!" nor do they deny the mother and children to visit. There's a lengthy process involved. I know this because my step-daughter and SIL, being very good Christians, ended up fostering then adopting 3 boys under those very circumstances. It's quite a process to take American kids away from their parents and deny those parents any parental privileges.

 

That's exactly what I did.

The situations are the same. They broke the law, and were separated. Illegal aliens separated from their "parents" is than than it is for US citizens.

Nevermind supporting illegal immigration means that only 1/6th of those children even have a "parent" with them, and of those, many aren't even their ****ing parents but are sex traffickers.
