Ancient Slavery pretty much died out at about the time of the Justinian plagues and was not revived on any large scale until the Age of Exploration in the early 1400's (though it still existed)

I linked an article that proves that wrong. There are records of Jewish slaves in Egypt. Whether they built the pyramids or not I don't care fact is at least some were enslaved in Africa.
