    There was two financial offers, one from the EU side and one from the Russians. The Ukrainians are basically behind on oil payments to the Russians(which incidentally let's hope Germany doesn't find itself in a similar situation.). At first, the Ukrainians were going to join the EU but the then-Ukrainian President decided to go with the Russians.

    Their President was overthrown and Ukraine's in a civil war, and that's where we are now.

    West Ukraine wants to join the EU, but the East side is pro-Russian. It's not too dissimilar to North/South Sudan(or Korea). I condemned our involvement, as we basically propped up the Kiev Neo-Nazis. When that was exposed, US Senators were repulsed at the fact.

    There's delicious irony in that the EU complains about Russian aggression, but also puts itself in the middle of that conflict. The EU/Europeans have failed to engage in diplomacy.

    It shows positive involvement.

    IMO destabilizing the country politically and lusting after its rich soils with a plan to grow GMO crops on them does not,

    Isn't fluoride already in tap water? https://ilikemyteeth.org/fluoridation/ I don't believe in any Jew/Zionist conspiracy theory, but I do favor spring water. You can see what happened in Flint as evidence that bottled water, though more expensive is at least healthier.

    Yah, we did push them around with impunity....we clobbered them at DierEzzor syria....300+ mercs/troops dead, Putin silent, he'll do nothing.

    2nd only to US....that's debatable.....China will overtake that 2nd spot.

    The first place will be occupied by China, within a couple of decades. The US will be number two with no rivals for second place, unless Russia undergoes deep internal reforms curbing corruption which will allow its economy to flourish.
