To be fair you invited such commentary with your post# 15.

Also, what you said above applies to everyone.

And again, I notice you hollering about whataboutism when you have done the same yourself in past threads. Why is it OK for you but annoys you when those that have different opinions from you use it?

This is the sort of thinking that cost the left VA. Whatshisname (the guy who lost, not to mention Biden himself) kept running against Trump... except when voters looked at their ballots, they discovered that Trump wasn't running for anything! But, please, keep it up. I was surely hoping that loss would cost the left ALL of the bills currently on the table, and I for one am not happy with the "republicans" who voted for this 5,000 page, multi-trillion dollar boondoggle (because since when has ANYTHING government touched cost what they originally said it would?), but at the very, VERY least I hope the bigger BBB that is absolutely horrific for the USA goes no further.

We don't need free pre-K, we don't need free daycare (pay for your own f-ing kids like a normal person does!!), we don't need free community college, all of which we've lived without since 1787, nor do we need a single THING that's in the entire (other) 5,000 page, multi-trillion boondoggle. And if it turns out I'm wrong, and there's some tiny, baby thing in there we do need which doesn't obligate one group of people to pay even more of other people's bills, then pass it on it's own. Not holding my breath, however.

not even remotely true ... it's why I will probably do a chew and screw at the in laws for Thanksgiving this year ... my daughter in law's father and his doppelganger meatball son ruined my grandson's 5th birthday in September with his constant stop the steal and evil Biden regime nonsense to the point where he got confrontational ...

Pro Tip: don't let Trump supporters anywhere near the bar at family gatherings ...

Marjorie Taylor Greene is not well in the head.

We have too many politicians in both sides of the isle who insist on opposing everything only for the sake of opposing. Infrastructure is something everyone should be able to agree upon, especially after the "human infrastructure" was taken out of the bill.

I was hoping they'd run a conservative candidate against Biden, but looks like they want Trump.

FOX don't talk about her, because they are embarrassed that she has become the face of the Republican party.

Glad you found an exception to my sweeping comment which I believe is quite right.

A quick reality check will explain to you that it is not the role of federal government to pay for the maintenance of infrastructure belonging to other companies and governments. Maintenance of federal infrastructure is a budget item and doesn't require a special law. About 10 to 15% of the law relates to physical infrastructure. Most of it is actually subsidies and other federal spending. Perhaps that helps explain the opposing view of the law.

I didn't say it well. I think my position is correct despite your finding one exception. I don't really care who the president is. I only care what the president does. What the current president does is pathetic. I would take Trump's actions over Biden's in a heartbeat despite Trump's awful personality.

50% of the bill goes to funding existing infrastructure programs, projects.

Maybe it would if it was true, but since its not, it is not a valid reason. I listed the spending yesterday, so I wont bother again knowing it would be ignored.

The “nutter fringe” comprises 50% - 60% of today’s GOP.
