    Define insult.
At no time did I insult you. I objected to à comment you made in a post and you can stop trying to wriggle like a snowflake out of your insensitive use of the Queens death to make an unnecessary pointlessly aggressive and completely offtopic post about your own American political view.
There are you know rules about off topic posts.

This is complicated. She had a large stable and breeding programme including sending them to Ireland on a regular basis, as well as trainers and managers.
    They werent just "pets".
It is possible the horses will be sold and the stable broken up. But maybe her managers will carry on breeding and racing. That would be a fine legacy.

This is your contentious post to which I continue to object:

"Like all good monarchs -- and obviously they haven't all been good -- she called for and exemplified dignity, duty, humility, and steadfastness in the face of adversity, sobriety, and grace. Those things aren't important to the Left, which is all about levelling."

First, she didn't do anything "in the face of sobriety and grace". She exemplified these qualities.
Second there was nothing about levelling in any discussion about the Queen and your final kicker was totally an off topic opportunist remark about your own opinion relative to American politics.

So you used à poor misunderstanding of her attributes , created à référence that never existed and then exploited that to take àn off topic swipe at American adversarial politics, and not even àn observant, original and useful one either.

I am sure you can do so much better.

This used to be the unofficial national anthem of England at events like the Commonwealth games.
IMO it is a much better tune and far more moving than the dirge which is our current anthem.

European slavery was was not race based. We had Irish slavery as well.

You're referring to the black Irish who weren't slaves. They were the original Irish who were Celts. Today's Irish are not Celts, they're Vikings (red hair)

I had a brief holiday near Paris this last week-end and visited Versailles.
If you look at the tableaux of heroic m9ments and crowds of slaves, servants and soldiers, there was the presence of every ethnic group of every race and colour, dress and faith (devoted usually by headress).
Whether they were slaves or not, they werent uniformed soldiers, though they were there too. They were the general mass of people working under the King.
In those days the nation that won the battle against another one either slaughtered the losing side, imprisoned them or out them to work.
I have no doubt that those who constructed palaces like Versailles were from everywhere.
However we are now and in places where white people are the majority whose wealth was often achieved by non white people, we still have a concentration of white males in positions of greatest influence.
Happily this is changing.when I think of the demographics 50 years ago the move to equal opportunities has been impressive.
And to those who still prefer the cultural security of white mâle, I am afraid there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. So to save yourselves stress and angst, you will have to learn to live with it.

You may be right, I won’t say you’re wrong because I honestly do not know. But I will look into it.

Define insult and prove I insulted you.
    Report me if you want.

OTOH I have shown you posting off topic pointless aggressive posts.
    Shall I report you?

Blacks have a higher crime rate, so police are more suspicious of black people. OTOH, if you're black and not doing anything wrong, you're more likely to get police attention. Discrimination or not?

Would have been funnier if he wasn't the only person describing her death as shocking.

Where has her actual cause of death been published? I was a little shocked by it because it really wasn't imminently expected. Yes, she was 96 but two days prior, she was on her feet welcoming our latest feckless tory Prime Minister (maybe having seen both Boris and Truss within a week did her in). Two days later, 'concern' was announced and then she passed away rapidly. So did she have a stroke? heart failure? Both of those are considered natural causes in a person her age but I still it was still a bit of a shock.

By the way, I think some of the things being written on this thread are absolutely in poor taste.

    It hasn't.
It is not unusual for Her Majesty's medical records to remain private.

Why do you believe that? Do you think cops don’t believe that whites are capable of crime? I was pulled over one time for my plates “almost being expired”. That’s right… Almost. Was that white discrimination?

Queen Elizabeth II's rein won't be broken for a long long time. I heard there was a possibility that the commonwealths that were a parr of the UK would be severing ties. If this were to be true, you have to wonder what the reason for this would be.

The police in UK were found to be institutionally racist through an independent enquiry

An old black man once told me....Being white meant something once, but not anymore. No one seems to notice progress.

I have not seen anything official and who knows if we will hear anything of the sort anytime in the near future. I did read an article yesterday that speculated based on her hands in the last photos that she was suffering from peripheral vascular disease which can lead to heart and other organ failure.
