Sexual attraction is not gender based. It is a sex based attraction. Biological sex and gender identity are not the same thing. Biological sex is physical. Gender Identity is a mental concept. A concept of self needn't be limited to any physical constraints.

The transgender / transsexual movement needs to be removed from LGBQ, it has nothing to do with orientation. Gay and bisexual people mainly just seek equality in rule of law and the right to not be harassed. Trans people want new rules crafted just for them. They are at odds with one another on just about every issue.

    Yeah no. Discrimination is discrimination.

LGBQ is a bigoted term. It purposely excludes the "S" for straight.

You will have to put more thought into a response if you want one in return.

You disagree that trans people are not an orientation?
Or do you disagree that they are not wanting special rules for themselves?

I am not advocating discrimination against anyone — simply equality.

You are right, without straight people we could have never gained the ability to have legal relationships or marriage equality so they should definitely be acknowledged.
    LGBQA — for allies.

People that want us dead or in prison don’t get to join

This thread is more proof of Trump supporter's intolerance and bigotry.

(As if that was at all in doubt  )

They are individuals. That's why they don't agree on a singular idea of what they want. :)

Not really. The groups are only defined by who has been/is being discriminated against. Wouldn't your objection apply to any objection to discrimination, such as people fighting against anti-Christian discrimination?

Lots of people have different opinions on the best way to manage society, that doesn't automatically mean they abhor all the alternatives. Some people think the best way to support freedom is to prohibit discrimination while other people think the best way to support freedom is to permit discrimination. A lot of people express inconsistent opinions depending on who the discrimination is targeted at.

You're saying a majority of gays vote conservative? I didn’t know that. That’s cool.
