Actually, I hadn't noticed that. Probably because you have Mitt Romney at the top of it, who is about as "conservative" as Joe Biden.
Why are you libs even bothering with this thread? We all know you are going to vote for Obama, the pop-culture icon and rockstar, again. The health of the country will come second to your desire to wear "Hope" T-shirts and feel part of a "historic" movement to prove to your liberal buddies how far away you are from the racist roots of the hated white race. Your contributions to this thread are pointless, because you wouldn't have a sober perspective of these candidates, anyway.
Gee... I dunno. Because I have an opinion on how the candidates rank. Sorry to burst your bubbles, Brew, but I don't vote based on slogans and images. I vote based on what I think is best for the country. Your assumption that all Obama supporters are just drones is, ironically, something you sucked up from a pint of stereotypes, biased anecdotes, and right-wing propaganda. So don't give me any of that (*)(*)(*)(*). I prefer draft beer. Every contribution you make is pointless because your worldview is composed entirely of stereotypes about groups you hate. I don't think you are one to listen to on the subject of sobriety, Brew.
So far, the scores are: 1. Ron Paul (104) 2. Mitt Romney (84) 3. Herman Cain (83) 4. Gary Johnson (79) 5. Jon Huntsman (6 6. Newt Gingrich (57) 7. Rick Perry (46) 8. Michelle Bachman (32) 9. Rick Santorum (31) Candidates got 9 points for a first place vote, fown to 1 for a last place selection. I didn't include incomplete lists in the count.
Perry sure has slipped.. He needs IOWA ..NH. or something we haven't seen.. Maybe he was really adopted by Reagan.
Ron Paul is the only one of any worth, the rest are neo cons, members of the Christian right, corporatists, or some mix of the three.
1... Ron Paul 2... Newt Gingrich 3... Herman Cain 4... Jon Huntsman 5... Gary Johnson 6... Mitt Romney 7... Rick Perry 8... Michelle Bachmann 9... Rick Santorum
1) Ron Paul 2) Gary Johnson 3) Jon Huntsman 4) Herman Cain 5) Newt Gingrich 6) Rick Perry 7) Mitt Romney Michelle Bachmann 9) Rick Santorum
1)Herman Cain 2) Rick Perry 3) Michelle Bachman 4) Rick Santorum 5) Ron Paul 6) Mitt Romney 7) Newt Gingrich 8 )Gary Johnson 9)Jon Huntsman Frankly...I don't know much about Johnson. But surely he can't be worse then Huntsman.
Ideologically: 1. Ron Paul 2. Gary Johnson (I docked him from number one due to his consumption tax) 3. Newt Gingrich 4. Mitt Romney 5. John Huntsman The rest From an electability perspective: 1. Mitt Romney 2. Rick Perry 3. Newt Gingrich The rest
For the sake of consistency (so I can include you in the tally), just list who you would vote for from 1-9. Also.. just curious because I hear the term so often here. what the hell does "electability" really mean? I mean, if people vote for someone because he has good ideas, he gets elected right? It's as if people have been conditioned to think that if someone isn't smooth talking enough some magical force will restrict the general public from casting a vote in his or her direction... therefore don't go wasting your ballot! Not picking on you, just wondering why this "electability" term (which basically seems to translate as good hair, quippy, sound byte material and youthful) is so often thrown around.
Ron Paul Gary Johnson Sarah Palin Michelle Bachmann Jon Huntsman Newt Gingrich Jimmy McMillan Herman Cain Buddy Roemer Fred Kargar Mitt Romney Rick Perry Rick Santorum
I must be really bored tonight. Here is an update: 1. Ron Paul (136) 2. Herman Cain (109-9-9) 3. Gary Johnson (102) 4. Mitt Romney (98 ) 5. Jon Hunstman (88 ) 6. Newt Gingrich (78 ) 7. Rick Perry (63) 8. Michelle Bachman (50) 9. Rick Santorum (31)
means looks, hair , eloquence and name recognition. Romney has all four. Perry has hair and name recognition. Gingrich has eloquence and name recognition (a bit too old for looks and hair). Trivial, yes. Reality to the people surrounding you regarding the next election, yes.
Then help to change the reality amongst the people around you. I would argue that any intelligent person who cares about their family's future could be convinced to open up their eyes just a bit with no more than minor arm twisting.
One I would actually vote for: 1) Ron Paul 2) Write in Candidate - Ron Paul Honorable Mention: 1) Newt Gingrich 2) Jon Huntsman Wouldn't think of voting for any of these Pr*cks in a million years Listed in order of contempt from least to most despised 1) Gary Johnson (ignorant exploiter if middle class & morality legislator) 2) Herman Cain (dangerously stupid exploiter of middle class and poor) 3) Michelle Bachman (Brain-Dead religia-bot channelling Jesus) 4) Mitt Romney (Dangerous Egotist, Obama Light) 5) Sarah Plain (Media Whore Tool) 6) Rick Perry (Globalist Puppet, Grim Reaper) 7) Rick Santorum (Too stupid to even know he's a puppet)
"Then help to change the reality amongst the people around you. I would argue that any intelligent person who cares about their family's future could be convinced to open up their eyes just a bit with no more than minor arm twisting." sh777Mtl I have no family. I grew up in a dysfunctional household. I have no obligations to society other than supplying truth and logic to which there seems to be a complete lacking.
Sounds good enough to me. Although, if you're walking down the street and hear someone say something like "I like the look of that Perry fellow, he looks like an honest chap", at least slap them for me ok? Maybe they'll get the message!
Ron Paul is a crackpot. Really. so here is mine: 1) Newt Gingrich 2) Michelle Bachman 3) Rick Santorum 4) Mitt Romney 5) Gary Johnson 6) Jon Huntsman 7) Rick Perry Herman Cain 9) Ron Paul I would vote for Ron Paul over President Osama only because President BHO is more of a crackpot than Paul.
You're entitled to your opinion, and I'm not patrolling my thread to jump on non-Paul guys, but when someone simply says he is a crackpot, I always wonder what aspects of his message are "crack". Please, humor me, name 5 things he stands for which are absolute lunacy.
