Do you think the government grants Rights? It doesn't you know. In fact all that the BoR's prevents is the government from interfering with existing Rights. IE: Rights exist regardless of the Government, the Constitution, or the BoR's.

Rights are not just something on a piece of paper or codified into law. It is inherent. Recognizing and adhering to those Rights is what separates civilized society from despots, authoritarians, and those that would believe that might makes right.

That is something that the left doesn't understand.

You're right that no one has to give you a platform for your speech. However Reddit, Twitter, et al all started with the express purpose of giving everyone a place to speak. When they started their TOS didn't single out any particular group because they disagreed with their speech. In fact they started out with the express purpose of giving voice to everyone. The only exceptions were those that advocated for violence and pornography, following standard FCC rules. They even got Congress to give them a special exemption from being sued for libel for the things their posters said. Provided that they remained a platform and did not censor. Congress did so with the express intent of making the internet as widely available to everyone as possible and not suppress it. Do you really think that Reddit, Twitter et al are upholding their end of the bargain that they struck with Congress by getting rid of speech that they disagree with politically?

But hey, you go ahead and support those that would censor those you disagree with politically. One of three things WILL happen eventually. 1: The Silent Majority will use their voice at the Voting Booths and deny you your demands. 2: Those that think like you do will eventually go to the further extreme and come after you. 3: You're going to start a war. All three of these things have happened in the past. And the past has a tendency to repeat itself. The only time it doesn't is when people actually learn from the past and don't repeat the same mistakes.

    1) Nobody is "Censoring" anybody.

If people don't like Reddit's TOS then they are free to move on.

    Problem solved.

There are (literally) thousands of platforms (not named Reddit) where people can express their views.

Totally LMAO at the whole "Reddit is Censoring Free Speech" Fantasy.

    2) Trump is going to LOSE (Regardless of the "Silent Majority").

    Carry on.:salute:

So, based on your logic it is time to get rid of affirmative action? There are literally thousands of cake shops that people can go to and order from. Should we get rid of AA?

And you can ignore the definition of censorship all that you want. Doesn't change the definition nor that what Reddit has done applies.
