    What! are you insulting me and suggesting that my posting a photo of her not showing social distancing protocols in a public setting somehow has a racism element to it. Liberals NEVER! disappoint, first the Trump reference and like clockwork the Racism angle is sure to follow.

    We're objecting not to the contact, but to her making the contact maskless when she's been all totalitarian about the whole masks thing.
    I say if her and her boyfriend want to let a 3rd person in to their bedroom, that's their business. If she wants to dance closely with that odd breathless and excited look on her face with a man who is not her partner, in public, while he apparently films it (he seems to be the dude in the background taking a picture), I guess whatever occurs between consenting adults is fine.
    If only she agreed with that sentiment.

    She's saying that not wearing masks puts everyone at risk.... then goes on and doesn't wear a mask.
    We all agree wearing a mask is silly.... but she doesn't agree except apparently when it suits her.
    Pointing that out is fair game.

    I definitely remember reading about more than one televangelist-type preaching about gambling then headed out to Vegas. Think these stories were in the 80s but I can't be bothered to search for em right now.

    It's legal there, but the idea of telling your flock one thing than doing another ... they were roundly condemned for it, and deservedly so. See the idea now?

    This isn’t about law. It’s about practicing what you preach.
    New Jersey dropped indoor mask rules but I still wear it in stores and see other people wearing them too.
    There is zero excuse for AOC to do this
    Why not just admit it? Is your loyalty to the left that dedicated that you won’t dare question them?

    The big deal is the blatant hypocrisy that everyone clearly sees and those refusing to acknowledge it.

    That is the problem with modern society, we have become so entrenched in our respective camps that even in the face of video evidence we will refuse to acknowledge something that will give the "other side" a "win" in any capacity. Folks know exactly what this is, they do, and they know they do. But God forbid they acknowledge it as what it is because personal pride is more important than factual reality.

    As far as this particular story goes, AOC is a hypocrite pure and simple but at the end of the day so are the majority of people running around society. There are a whole LOT of people regardless of ideology or culture who support policies or causes that they themselves don't actually partake in. Everybody seemingly wants to change the world but very few people are actually willing to be the change themselves and then constantly make excuses to themselves about why they aren't changing.

    If you genuinely believe that masks help slow the spread of covid regardless of vaccination status then choose to go out in public in close proximity to others without a mask then you are a hypocrite, period. There is no way to skate around that factual statement by using an excuse of policy or whatever. If the policy in that particular establishment in Florida was that masks are banned and she believes in the purpose of masks then she should have chosen not to go there. Choosing anything other than that is hypocritical, period.
