As an "outsider" and the guy who is supported by those who want to "shake up" Washington, it should come as no surprise that there would be conflict with those he has promised to impose those changes upon ... the political "establishment,"

If I understand and he is committed to his goals, this break with the party is exactly what his supporters expect and - win or lose, should continue to do so if, for no other reason, to send that message to Washington.

The paradox here is that those same "establishment" politicos are the guys that want Trump to go more "maintstream" to win the election and, that if he did win - and does what he's promised his constituents he will do, those very people would be pretty much screwed. Of course, they don't believe that. Rather, they believe that if they could just get the bull into the china shop he would become their little lamb. Maybe they could make a "deal" with Trump ... that he would leave them alone. Conform just a little.

    Faustus had a similar fantasy.

Say what.....no Demos are breaking Trumps way. Now I know you illiberals like to Deny reality and whatnot. But after I already have had the link up in 9 or 10 threads due to the leftness and their dense grey matter not able to handle such a reality.

It gets redundant always showing why your kind .....can't ever (*)(*)(*)(*)in tell the truth.

I don't think Trump actually has a political ideology or philosophy. He might not know what that is. Trump has donated as much money to Democrats as to Republicans throughout his life. The reason why, he explained last year when confronted. He said, "I give, politicians give back."

I do think Trump bends politically with any political party or stance on the issues that he thinks will give him an advantage. To him and his business. How else can Trump being a Democrat three times, an Republican three times, an independent three times and even a member of my tiny Reform Party once. That was for only about a year.

He is a political opportunist. Taking advantage of the political winds. Somehow this snake oil salesman managed to obtain the Republican nomination. This is 100% pure fiction material, only it isn't.

I don't know if Trump is a racist or not. If he gets classified as that, then too perhaps 60% of Americans ought to be too. They support the temporary ban. Some of that is probably fear talking. Most Americans want to feel safe, they want security. But like most issues these days, polarization sets in. Most Democrats oppose the ban, most Republicans supports and independents are pretty much split.

Who knows what these people will do once they get into a voting booth? I am sure there are plenty of Democrat Congress people who will not pull the lever for Hillary. They just aren't publicizing it, because if you go against the "company", you could be ruined. Remember her untrustworthiness is above 50%, and her favorability is just as high.

Democrats like to spin which billionaire is on board with them and which Congress person will not support Trump, but that doesn't matter in the long run. What matters is how the ordinary American citizen will vote, and we peons are fed up with the Obama government and the constant lies. Who could take 4 more years of this? Hillary even lies about her lies...So the rich support the woman who will keep them that way...what's new? But there are many more middle class than rich...

I'm sorry, who is the REPUBLICAN Presidential Nominee....and what is his supposed wealth???

    :)

    Trump is stuck.

If he "takes a chill pill"?....it'll look like the GOP read him the riot act and told him to "shut up and start acting like an adult"....and he'll look WEAK and controlled by the Party.

If he doesnt?.....more Republicans will join Rep. Kinzinger.

That is possibly the closest thing to a compliment someone can give trump. I don't blame you, there isn't much there.

He may not be. However, he plays a convincing racist, misogynist degenerate. The right in the US eats that stuff up. They love it.

The GOP is in great shape because of trump. All those deep thinkers! The high morale and party unity of the GOP is astounding! Have you seen the latest republican to withdraw their support for him?

Which is what makes this statement by him so significant. He is publicly pulling support for his party's candidate. That's about as going against the company as you get.
Still clinging to the fantasy that enough people are ignorant enough to come out and actually vote for trump? Well, i'll let you enjoy it, fantasies are all you guys on the right have at this point as the GOP circles the drain. Enjoy your schadenfreude!
