are you one of the supper rich? I am upper middle class, and remember, investment income is income and the ss tax is also a tax on that income you have to pay the tax I pay on every dollar you earn, no matter where you earned it, no caps what average % do you pay when you count all your income from all sources per dollar?
Amen, I am all for a flat tax a flat tax where everyone pays the same % for every dollar they earn over the poverty line is the only fair system all income needs to be treated as income, no caps, everyone pays the same % across the board for every dollar earned over the poverty line - rich or poor alike I am all for a flat tax that taxes nobody for any money made under the poverty rate (rich or poor) and then everyone is taxed equally for every dollar earned over that
If we're going to retain government assistance programs, then I would apply taxes to every dollar earned, rounded to the nearest dollar. Some forms of income, such as interest/dividends earned on bank accounts/stock/etc. could be taxed at their source simplifying their collection and ensuring they are taxed.
That is the effective rate. Can I pay the mean effective rate and you'll be good with that? And I agree all income is income no matter how you derive it
how about a flat tax and you pay the same tax I do, for every dollar you earn, same was the working class
you get the max allowed.. no more, you think cause your rich you deserve more then everyone else? 99% of America pays the SS tax for every dollar they earn, why should you not do the same?
You are wrong, you have been caught - again - and as your typical response you try to obfuscate. You are a FAILURE.
Am I the one complaining about the Republican tax plan, a plan which is not even formed and in writing yet? Have I posted out of date links in an attempt to create a fake issue to complain about? No, that's you. You are so desperate to hate something that you create fake news. You created an entire OP on fake information.
the benefits are based on dollars contributed. Why should one contribute more for no increase in benefit? Do you not believe in equal treatment under the law? Are you special? Do you deserve more benefit per dollar contributed than someone who makes more than you?
Oh yeah, that's right, I forgot, republican voters don't know that other taxes exist, because they don't pay them. It's an evil right wing trick pulled on them to make them hate the poor. Hint: even full on retards can recognize he was talking about income taxes
He "should" nothing. You're being a petty child and not debating the point he was making. Instead your puking out distractions because you have no answer
lol, he was wrong and was corrected. You chimed in from the peanut gallery, and are doubling down on wrong for him. It’s hilarous.
He was right. He doesn't have to say "income". It was the established topic. Troll away, I know you will
he was demonstrably not. He said "any" taxes. That is false. the correct statement is "federal income taxes".
Referring to the income tax plan. Your being silly, juvenile and pesky. Most obviously you are avoiding his point of 50% not paying any tax under our current income tax structure.
It would keep their tax the same or higher. I would just do an exponential equation if I could. I promote hard work and ideas making money not using your money to make money. When you get rich enough you don't have to really work anymore. At that point I say tax them and give some tax relief to smaller businesses where that tax money could mean life or death for their company as they live on the edge of a knife.
stating "any taxes" is incorrect. I corrected him. You can continue whining about that if you want. I will just keep reminding you he was incorrect.
Any idea what the dollar figure on being rich enough to not have to work any more is? Personally I don't think a Corp should pay taxes. Taxes should be paid when the money leaves the Corp and goes to the owner. This eliminates corps financing the lives of their owners while writing it off as expense
Still avoiding I see, as predicted. Here's your big chance. What about the fifty percent who pay no FEDERAL INCOME taxes?
