That is not normal in CA. When a CA Governor is about to be recalled, suddenly strange things start to happen. I spent most of my life in CA and voted there since 1956. Suddenly the crap hits the fan? Newsom is a failure. I voted for who he ran against when he got elected.

Both of my sons graduated from ECR. That area is pretty evenly split between Democrats and Republicans. I am sure that the poll workers reflect that. If there was an issue that indicated that some voters were told that the record shows that they already voted it was not some kind of voter fraud scheme but rather a mistake. The voter was given a provisional ballot and the glitch has been reported.
