Retired SCOTUS Judge John Paul Stevens has called for at least 6 new Amendments to the US Constitution in his newly released book entitled "Six Amendments: How and Why We Should Change the Constitution".

A major change would be to the 2nd Amendment which would allow states to be forced to participate in gun checks as mandated by Congress and most importantly, clarifying gun ownership control.

Interesting, and a little sad, that his amendment proposals would constrict liberty, rather than increase it.

Here's hoping his book winds up in the bargain box soon.
