A couple of unrelated stories reminded me that on any given day you have to take the bad with good.

    The bad news first:

“After 2 1/2 years as a professor at Stanford, Miss Rice is reportedly getting “antsy” to get back into the political game. “She’s ready to go,” said one top source.”

CURL: One president, please, with a side of Rice
    By Joseph Curl
    The Washington Times

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/dec/18/curl-one-president-please-with-a-side-of-rice/

Rice Cakes was a disaster when she was National Security Advisor. She was worse as Secretary of State. Now she is being touted for vice president because she is the classic media darling; bouncing back and forth between the academy and the government.

The media is hedging its bet on this one. Picking an acceptable RINO substitute for Hussein is not enough; media moguls want to name the VP as well. Can you imagine Newt getting the nomination and picking Rice as his running mate? I think that would be the first time two education industry parasites ran on the same ticket.

And if Republican party decision makers think they are going to pull black voters away from the Democrat because they put Rice Cakes on the ticket they are sadly mistaken. Why the hell should any Democrat, black or white, settle for a UN-loving Republican internationalist when they can get a Democrat for the job?

Let me round off the bad news by reminding conservatives that Rice Cakes was mentored by Madeleine Albright’s father, Josef Korbel. He came to this country via political asylum and headed right for a spot at the public trough in higher education. One wonders if he did not also teach Rice Cakes the ins and outs of a successful career feeding at the public trough —— successful career as opposed to ordinary career. Rice’s parents were in education so she knew the parasite fundamentals before hooking up with Korbel. No matter. Rice’s love of the UNIC (United Nations/International Community) is enough to disqualify her from serving as local dog catcher let alone vice president.

    The good news is:

North Korean leader Kim Jong Il dead at age 69

It’s always a great day when a Communist leader croaks. I do have two questions though:

    1. How come the headlines do not read World Leader Dies? For decades the MSM has been telling us the head of every country is a world leader.

    2. Will his successor be a world leader?

At the very least the press should have said Communist Dictator Drops Dead. Oh well, the event is the important thing. I’ll celebrate by remembering the joy Stalin gave to the world on the day he died.

The mere fact that Condi is crawling back out of her hole should just serve as a reminder to everyone that we live in an oligarchy. It's always the same people in charge they just happen to take turns having a figure head in the White house.

Relax Flanders for you have my political expertise to size up the eventual duo to head the Republican ticket.

    President..... Mitt Romney
    Vice President.....Marco Rubio

That will set you free to take as many frivolous pot shots at those two that you feel fit in doing. :date:

I could live with that. I also like the idea of Romney/Thune.

That would work as well, but not to take away from the Flanders message here, I would like to take this time to agree with his take on Ms Rice Cakes.

If its okay with Flanders and with the liberal media despite their warnings to us, I would also like to propose the black Republican Cain as another possible veep potential to join Romney on the ticket. With a fellow businessman like Cain and a black man to boot, I do think Cain would secure a lot more of the black vote than would a Ms Rice Cakes.

Well LH, as with most everything in life... this is where we must part company. lol

Personally, I am far from convinced that Mr. Cain has what it takes to be in a governmental leadership role, and simply could not support the idea.

But hey! We agreed partially, that's better than many folks here! LOL

    Take care

    From the OP's article:

I like how the article points out that she is an "American Black" unlike Barack Obama.

To XxDEATHSHEADxX: Absolutely! They all have the same destination. The only conflict among them is who drives the bus.

To Libhater: I wait with bated breath should Romney not get the nomination.

Your VP pick is also wishful thinking. Rubio may very well be the greatest conservative ever, but any candidate that picks him before his eligibility is settled to everyone’s satisfaction is only asking for trouble on election day.

To Angedras: If you are a conservative how about Bachmann/Bolton? If you are a Republican all you have to do is pin the tail on any of the CINO donkeys.

To Libhater & Angedras: That’s a step in the right direction.

To Libhater: That’s a step backwards.

To Angedras: Good call. After Cain’s initial splash, I swear I heard him singing:

    *smile*

That ticket is a bit too far right for me personally.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=_1oJuwkXr0E[/QUOTE]

    Hahahahahaha!! *nods head in agreement*

Before clicking the link, I was expecting the little singing debut from his interview with Barbara Walters. lol

Also, to your point on Rubio... I am inclined to agree that it's too early in his political career. Perhaps in 2016 Actually, I suppose the same might be said of my choice, John Thune.

    Regards

I don't understand the joke "Rice Cakes"? What does that mean? I don't see where it is funny. Perhaps a little racist if you ask me.

And what about Rubio's eligibility? He was born in Miami, Florida, May 28th, 1971. That makes him a natural born citizen because his parents were here legally, and were in the process of becoming citizens (both parents were naturalized in 1975). So what is the question regarding his eligibility? Are you arguing that Rubio is actually a Cuban citizen? Ha!

To PatriotNews: No one doubts his place of birth or that he is an American citizen. Whatever eligibility question exists regarding the definition of “natural born” applies to Rubio as well as to Hussein. Every Democrat knows it and would like nothing better than to see Rubio on the Republican ticket as the best way to legitimize Hussein along with opening the presidency to naturalized citizens like George Soros and others of his ilk. I suspect that you know that is the way of it.

Bottom line: Aside from the many law suits filed by competent lawyers, more than one constitutional expert has stated "natural born citizen," means someone who obtains citizenship from parents who are themselves Americans. The courts avoiding hearing the case changes nothing.

While there are some serious concerns with certain GMO's, I always ask my progressive friends what the millions who they feed would do without them.

Sure, I walk to Whole Foods and buy as healthy as I can (West LA has to be the most health crazy place there is).

But I am sure there are tens if not hundreds of millions out there that would kill for any food. GMO'S or not
