Maybe we should release all those animals back into the wild? Of course, they'd be lion feed in a few hours, but who cares?

Speaking of 'lifestyle accessories', I assume your concern also applies to liberals who play gender identity games with their children right?

That will be a tough one to defend. Maybe the circus that was such a big deal when there was nothing else to do is just not a big deal any more.

Jokes are fine, but don't post "How true" afterwards. There is zero relationship between the two. If anything, a reduction in taxes may make the difference between staying in business or closing up for good.

That will be a tough one to defend. Show your grand kids a youtube video of a circus act and ask if they want to sit through 2 hours more.

Maybe there is a little real estate between cruelty and releasing them into the wild.

Bottom line: You try moving a huge tent, several hundred employees, and equipment from town to town and see if you can stay in business by selling tickets for the same amount you can buy tickets to Disneyland for. The business model was designed back when they could move the show by rail and there was nothing else to do.

It is just way too labor intensive to stay in business. Just look at the issues they have had with attendance before the elephant issue. I suppose you can blame the liberals for the demise of the drive-in movie while you're at it!

Seeing horses dance, tigers jump through the hoops, elephants standing on one foot and trainers putting their head into the lions mouth... a cruelty? Gimmi a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing break, buddy.

Well the good news is, in typical liberal economic fashion, there's several hundred people now without jobs. How many people lost their jobs at Sea World when those PETA morons cried about Shamoo?

Of course, we know how inhumane it is to keep a whale or elephant in a safe environment, getting proper nutrition, medical care, etc. But none of that matters. The real issue is that a tree-hugging hippie somewhere 'feels good'

You can tell a lot about a person by how he treats animals. I can only hope you are speaking out of ignorance and have not seen the videos of how circus animals live. I will not post links.

When cruelty is exposed, people spend elsewhere. Look at what happened to the demand for baby seal pelts once the video of how they were obtained came out. Do you buy baby seal products? Do you know about the jobs created when people started demanding cruelty free products? Cage-free eggs are sold in every market.

I guess you think that once someone has a job, their position should be guaranteed for life regardless of the demand for that particular product or service. While we are at it, lets blame liberals for Blockbuster Video going out of business.

Liberal politics are very bad for business, but sometimes the business model is just bad on its own.

You can still buy a bug zapper and have hours of fun watching the little buggers get fried!

I couldn't give a flying (*)(*)(*)(*) how many jobs were lost at Sea World. Imprisoning wild animals and using them as sick entertainment they deserve to be jobless, frankly. How about getting a job helping animals instead of exploiting them? Too hard? Oh, and whales get plenty of nutrition in their natural environment; they don't need a bimbo showgirl throwing fish at them in a pool to survive. And yes I feel good about helping animals; why wouldn't anyone? They are not toys and you clearly know zero about the subject of animal welfare.

Let me ask you a practical question, and I'm being serious for a change.

If "Wild Animals" are returned to the habitat and no longer can be seen in circus and the Zoo, how will our kids learn about them? From books and movies? Would this be good for their upbringing?

I can see myself being asked - grandpa, grandpa, tell me another story about once seeng a real tiger in the Zoo?

    Is that what you want?

You really being serious? You think that watching a lion go through a ring of fire is teaching your children how lions behave in their natural environment? You think watching a tiger pace up and down their 20 foot cage teaches children how a tiger roams a 500 square mile area in a jungle in their natural environment? WOW!

Do you know what's the (*)(*)(*)(*)ing INSPIRATION is?

Step back for a second and imagine, children no longer can see wild animals. Why do you want to deprive the children of seeing whales, elephants, gorillas?

Do you have any idea what it may do to us as a human race?

Watching a tortured lion do tricks is inspirational? Unbelievable!

Pray tell, what will it do to the human race to not being able to gawp at caged animals or watch elephants being forced to stand upright?

Well, I'm glad. I for one think it's cruel. Animals are not here to entertain us.

It is fine to make sure, animals are treated humanly. It is not fine to ban children from seeing them, for this is what you're vouching for.

    This.

If this is true, then it's both frightening and appalling.
