I have faith in the justice system, and if the jury says not guilty, then so be it. Personally I predicted lesser charges (like reckless endangerment), but in the end he was cleared of everything. I read that in a self defense case you are not guilty of endangerment even if your bullet hits a bystander, so that probably explains it. I also thought the amount of force was excessive, but in the end only the jury's opinion matters. So far there its peaceful in Kenosha. Only a small crowd of middle aged people around the courthouse.
Don’t think Civil Court will be so kind to criminals filing a suit against Kyle, especially after a unanimous jury decision of acquittal on all 5 counts.
Oh my God! I just can't believe this. Rittenhouse being acquitted of all counts. This is appalling! If it were someone else. They would have been convicted. They would have spent a life term without the possibility of parole or given the death penalty. This isn't fair. If Rittenhouse were black, He'd be found guilty just like that. What gives? The conclusion is that a young man from the caucasian race is found to be innocent and he got away with murder.
OJ was a murder trial. Rittenhouse was a self defense trial No attorney on the planet will take these cases on contention as the video evidence proves the case. They can sue if they want as soon as they pony up about 100K for a retainer.
This will help restore some faith in a highly politicized Justice System for 80% of Americans. The Lockstep Leftists may still be upset and decide to have people murdered and property destroyed. Saint Kyle is going to be a rich rich rich young man.
