Because it wasn't as deadly and didn't spread as easily, however, there were a lot of sick people and plenty of deaths. https://www.cdc.gov/flu/pandemic-re...=From April 12, 2009 to,the (H1N1)pdm09 virus. "From April 12, 2009 to April 10, 2010, CDC estimated there were 60.8 million cases (range: 43.3-89.3 million), 274,304 hospitalizations (range: 195,086-402,719), and 12,469 deaths (range: 8868-18,306) in the United States due to the (H1N1)pdm09 virus."
Then you need to argue with the authors of that report. I think I'm gonna trust them over you. This is Trump's NOAA, not me. Your condescending tone noted.
Point being that Obama had no effect on it. I did not change my habits at all except for getting flu shots which I have always done.
Looks like I cant make you happy even when I admit i misunderstood your post.. Last time Golem, Muh BAD!
I thought it was an ok show, however I’m waiting to see if Trump walks out on the stage wearing a Gold Helmet and has a shiny silver 44 mag revolver , and says “Don’t die for your country. Make the other poor dumb bastard die for his”
So, were you disappointed? It made me physically ill to see the White House, our house, used for such a spectacle. Along with the cinder blocks surrounding it and the extra fencing, it was like watching the typical authoritarian dictator pretending to be running for election, making a show at the "presidential palace" with all of his family in tow, acting like they're just waiting their turn to be president when daddy dies. And in front of a hand-picked audience of loyal supporters, so intent on pleasing his royal majesty at the possible risk of their own lives that they allowed themselves to be crowded together, with very few daring to wear masks. I simply don't understand how his supporters can't see what he really is.
Busy time for the fact checkers, however, above average intelligent people don’t need fact checkers. The primary objective of political/election speeches is to persuade the average and below average intelligent people.
Partisan politics; a. In an effort to discredit b. In an effort to glorify a. Among 190 nations, U.S., 8th highest Covid19 deaths per 1M pop. WOW! b. Yeah, but among 190 nations, U.S. has one of the lowest Case Fatality Rate. WOW! Both statements are true, however; How many have died of Covid19 is a number “We, The People” will remember for a long time. Example; On Memorial Day..... We shall remember THEM or, We shall remember their Deployment Fatality Rate ————
Yeah I will criticize. I think it was totally unfair for Republicans to parade out one gorgeous beautiful sexy woman after another after another after another when we all saw what the democrat women looked like, I know, I know, how alpha male of me, but it really made democrats feel bad and I think that deserves some critique.
Made Democrats feel bad? Horse pucky. Where did you get that notion? And that isn't "alpha male," it's simply shallow sexism. I'm not a Democrat, but as a liberal leaning centrist, I can attest to the fact that few liberals and/or Democrats give a f... about looks. They aren't that shallow. Unknown to shallow people, the sexiest organ in the human body is the brain. On the other hand, and since you brought it up, I played a game during the RNC: Two vapes hits every time a bleached blonde was speaking, one vape hit every time Hunter Biden was mentioned, and if anyone brought up Kamala Harris' citizenship, chug whatever was left of my beer. I was pleasantly surprised that they managed to avoid going there (good thing, because I rarely drink more than one beer a night). Nevertheless, I was feeling prety buzzed and enjoying the unintended jokes when up cam Pam Bondi. Two hits for the hair, then she mention Hunter three times! I was very sleepy after that.
