Seriously, people. Stop mis-diagnosing Romney's campaign. Republicans, he lost because he's Romney. He's a lying, pandering (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)bag who is so used to having everything put in his lap that he literally had a five year old-esque meltdown after losing the election, whining about this that and the other thing. You lost because you put up a sh!tty candidate that you were told would lose months before the primaries even started. It's YOUR fault, not anyone else's. grow the (*)(*)(*)(*) up and get over it. Democrats, Romney didn't lose because Americans just hate Republicans and love you. They only supported you mostly because you promise them liberal economics where they will all have an equal shot at success and then sell them out to your corporate masters after elected. Trust me, if they had a third choice, the American people would tell you guys to (*)(*)(*)(*) off with the Republicans.
Romney lost for several reasons: 1. He tryed to tailor his message to who he was talking to at the time. He said one thing to GOP primary voters, another to big money donors, and another to General Election voters. All politicians do this to some extent, but Romney did it so much voters couldn't tell what he would do if elected. 2. The USA is a closely divided nation but is gradually starting to lean Democratic due to demographic changes. 3. A large percentage of the population like President Obama (I'm part of this group). I don't think that Gingerich or Santorum would have come as close as Romney to winning the election. If the GOP had chosen a centrist politician like Christie or Susan Collins of Maine the election would have been a tossup but I don't believe such a candidate could have won the nomination.
