Ron Desantis changing of data in Florida turns out to be a lie.

In this thread linked above members were quick to jump on a bandwagon of Democrats claiming Ron Desantis changed the data in Florida to change the number of covid deaths.

It all comes from the same story and in that misleading story if you scroll down it says the data was only changed to show covid deaths when they occur and not when they were recorded. In fact both sets of data do still exist for those wanting the old data.

The left thrives on fake news. Anything to make the people they don't like look bad. Ron Desantis has not done anything and this is just another smear campaign from the left.

I don't live in Florida so I rely on @Golem, @apexofpurple and @Pro_Line_FL for firsthand knowledge of what is happening there. I believe anecdoctal information over "news", spin and Monday morning quarterbacking.

I've lost count how many times people have said Al Capone is still alive and drug dealers and gangsters hang on every street corner in Chicago when I say "it's easy to remember my name because Michael Jordan played for the Bulls in Chicago and I'm from Chicago."

I was born and raised there and hundreds of my family members still live there and none of us have seen that. So, if I know it's all hype about MY city, why in the world would I believe stereotypes about other cities? That doesn't make any kind of sense.

As I clearly stated; There’s NO proof that both the CDC and Florida Health have over, or underreported their numbers FOR POLITICAL REASONS, and/or in an effort to discredit, or glorify DeSantis.

Also, many Republicans don’t trust any Covid numbers, especially the conspiracy shitters.

Last, as of 03 September, 2021, Florida Health reported a total of 46,234 Covid deaths, Florida RESIDENTS ONLY.

Among all States, Florida’s Covid Deaths Per 1M Pop now ranks 18th HIGHEST, and prior to its Delta Wave, 18th lowest.

Last, the daily/weekly numbers Florida Health reports to the CDC are provisional/subject to change.

 

Biden's administration started the statistical funny business as soon as he took office.
I still remember Psucki getting in front of her microphone and announcing that they were changing the definition of a "COVID death" to distinguish between "dying from COVID" and "dying with COVID".

THEN, they changed the recommended number of cycles for the COVID test to reduce the positive cases, since there were lots of false positives before.

Honestly, nobody has a freaking clue how many people have died "from" COVID.

Then, after several instances of the left wing media bunching several days of COVID deaths or cases into one day's count for Florida, DeSantis decided to put an end to the left's funny business there, too.

If you look at the numbers

Texas has been posting 15 K plus new cases daily with 270 new deaths daily

however Florida has been posting 22 K plus new cases daily with single digit deaths daily

No doubt the Republican led state is posting bad numbers

Its not rocket science

That's incorrect, QN. One of those parties does not have any standards. Anything goes. Need proof? Orange Jesus is raking in MILLIONS of dollars from his gullible groupies. He is allegedly a billionaire but has not paid ONE thin dime of his own money to fight the injustice of "election fraud". And, if that wasn't bad enough, he invited the Taliban to a BBQ at Camp David. Had I been a supporter, everything he's done just since COVID reached the US would have easily made see just what kind of monster he is.

Correction; According to today’s Covid19 Numbers, DeSantis certainly did not do better than most States.
