    Canada to Train Ukrainian Forces in UK. Canada is sending up to 225 military trainers to the UK to train Ukrainian troops there how to fight invading Russian forces, according to Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand. She added that Canada will work with the UK, Netherlands and New Zealand in training the Ukrainian troops. Canada previously operated a military training mission in Ukraine before it was suspended ahead of the invasion. Associated Press Reuters

    Soooo, this is just anecdotal and perhaps it means nothing, but since we are knee-keep in Summer vacation season in Germany, which means that the German Autobahn (highway system) is pretty maxed out, I and my kid have often been travelling state routes that run pretty parallel to the highways. And later at night, especially on two major "Bundesstrassen" (State Routes), we have seen long columns of NATO trucks loaded with all sorts of goodies, from tanks to missiles to big electronic boxes, travelling eastward. And I mean, very long columns, 30-40 vehicles, often with oversized decals, slowing down traffic on both parts of said state routes. In all of my years in Germany, I have never seen this before. It should be noted that where I live is not far from the Belgian and Netherlandian borders.

    Which means, if this figure is correct, at least 120,000 WIA.
    Lets not forget, Russian BTG do not have dedicated medical evacuation teams, as NATO countries have. Which means if you are badly wounded, your chance of survival is rather slim. On top of it we have heard that Russia has a problem with medical supplies, civilian and military.
    KIA is battle field, how high is the dark number, died in the field hospital, or on route to it, of the at least 120,000 WIA.

    There was a report in the FAZ, early May, that because of the very slow transport of WIA to the hospitals and the shortage of medical supplies, that amputations were very often the only way of saving the soldiers live.

    Yes, a good Russian soldier, in war, is a dead one. But sometimes we have to put some meat on those figures, to understand what this war really means.
    I have no mercy with the Wagner, or with some of the militias, the more dead even better, they are Dogs of War, Mercenaries and nobody needs them, but dead.
    But the farm kid from behind the Ural, drafted, pressed, coerced by money, lied to and so on, I can feel sorry for them.


    You mentioned the up-tick, my guess 2 reasons, the untrained cannon fodder, who have no more than 30 days training and the long range weapons from NATO
