Aside from Rush, who is a millionaire this is insensitive. Most people who need Society's help are poor.
I'm not going to waste my time providing you with research, but most cases don't go to stage four that fast. The five-year survival rate for early detection of small nodules is greater than 50%.
The question becomes will insurance pay for routine scans or to put it another way can a physician write up a lab order so they will pay? It seems to me (as a non doctor) like it would be great to get routine PET scans, but I guess this would be too expensive and overload the system.
I’ve always felt weird rooting or celebrating someone’s death unless they were a truly horrid person like a murderous dictator or something. However, I definitely feel no empathy for Limbaugh here.
Thanks for reinforcing my well founded belief that most lefties are self indulging, ill informed, closed minded, malcontents.
It can be written up to get approval. Im sure it would be an enormous strain on the system. I plan to get one within the next few years as a baseline to compare down the road.
I'm with you on feminism. My mother was a mayor of a city while I was in school, so I grew up seeing women and men as equals. I think some of the rightwing hostility to feminism is grounded in the leftwing ideology of some feminists. The reality today is most women believe they're "equal" and there's no real ideology involved in their beliefs. Of course, some of the rightwing dislike of feminism is the male reaction to having to share power.
Stage 4 lung cancer getting ten years? Unlikely. The five-year survival rate is less than ten percent.
You missed it. The comment was a mocking reference to Trump's comment about McCain getting shot down. Trump's comment about McCain was, of course, hateful and classless. But you guys still support the Orange Oaf. Does that apply to Trumpers?
You've been duped by Trump BS. His economic policies are pretty much an extension of what Obama did, and both of them have dangerously inflated the stock market and other asset classes (home prices, commercial real estate). Both Presidents have been unable to get Congress to use fiscal policy to get economic growth. Unemployment under Trump is a continuation of a trend under Obama; Trump bought a little extra growth with a deficit creating tax cut that 85% went to people making more than $400,000 per year; real wages went up faster in Obama's last three years than in Trump's first three. Perhaps you should temper your advice with an understanding Trump isn't doing more than Obama did for the economy.
