A sure sign the democrat party is self-destructing is when no one wants to admit they are a democrat.

your right, republicans should not even bother voting, dems do not stand a chance

stay home like dems did the last few elections and see how that works out for you

there is lots more dems in American then republicans, they just need to get out and actually vote or we get people like Trump

Yes, in 30 years on the radio, you cited one possible situation where Rush was incorrect. Bravo! Good job! Clown.

    That is absolutely FALSE!!!!!

Limbaugh has been lying to his audience for so long that he actually supported a cottage industry of fact checkers.

You can't listen to his program for much more than fifteen minutes without hearing him say something utterly ridiculous or absolutely false.

His audience is as poorly informed as the Fox audience always has been, and most of them don't read, or consume any other media.

A while back you didn't even know that Senators were up for election every 6 years instead of 2 years like the House. And you expect us to take your info and advice? LOL

Like I said before, you can label me all you like. Your idiot box black and white political world view is uninteresting and unchallenging. It proves you're just a partisan demagogue hack.

I'm quite sure that there are many more of the sort of casual assertions of (false) fact kind that Limpballs does all the time.

I almost never listen to his program. I used to turn it on to see what the right wing spin was.

But he's no longer that important, and he does the sort of schtick that I listed above as stunts to keep his name out there.

Ideological entertainers - Limbaugh, Maddow, etc. - perform for their respective partisan fan bases, applying their dogmatic spin to whatever issues arise.

In the age of Trumpery, their shticks are undermined by the unstable POTUS's erratic behaviour. He is apt to stridently espouse dogmatic scripture one day, only to crap on it the next.

Of course, intellectual, or even moral, consistency is not what attracts his cult. Theirs is a seemingly indissoluble emotional bond.

The brilliantly comic Jackie Gleason was an habitué of the bar at Toots Shor's, a trendy restaurant in New York. One evening, he assumed the role of maître d', snatching up two menus and approaching a well dressed couple waiting to be seated. Repeatedly turning to grovel and fawn in a cloyingly unctuous manner, he led them on a circuitous route that circumnavigated virtually every table in the spacious dining hall as they followed in docile sunservience.

Trump is recapitulating the antic ruse as he leads his cut on an ideological magical mystery tour.

Round n' round they go, Where they stop nobody knows.

How many do you need before you admit your MessiahRushie is nothing but worthless lying scum?
He habitually plagiarizes others claiming he came up with it. Some examples, The Limbaugh Theorem, Undocumented Democrats, Low-information Voters, Generation Text, etc.

yep, and we will see how that changes in 2018 and 2020

America swings back and forth, for some reason when the out of control party takes full control it motivates the other party to get out and vote, but the party in control doesn't get the same motivation

I do hope Trump runs in 2020, as that will be the best get out and vote message for dems, I have a feeling though that republicans will not allow that and Trump will be a one term President ousted by his own party in the primaries

Do you have something to refute what Rush says or will you just continue to close your ears and attack the messenger?

That's a real good way to keep losing elections btw

Media Matters is an organization dedicated to smearing those on the right. Using them as a source for the truth is indicative of those who have no interest in the truth.

Media Matters was created by David Brock to smear those on the right wing. Using them as a source for anything other than examples of smear techniques is deplorable.

    Rush is worthless.

I have never had my candidate win an election. I've never voted democrat - closest was Bernie - and I am a registered independent.

You and others need to stop your binary, black and white political world view.

It's exhausting and the quality of this forum is seriously suffering because of this sort of sad and pathetic thinking.
