Proud Germany lost WWII and was totally humiliated and forced to obey every wish the allies uttered. They survived, that was the main thing. Instead of eking out a living in a nuclear wilderness, only a few millions were sacrificed.

Based on some of the above posts over the last 24 hours you have to wonder how these Ru roleplayers here are having their performance audited.
....serial numbers.....Italian journalists.....and all the other crap.....I guess judging by the posting in the last 24 hours perhaps it's mere quantity. I wonder what the going rate per post is? I've got a bad feeling they're saying any old garbage so long as their funding continues. Their budget holder probably can't read English & doesn't want to touch anything IT with a barge pole.

Still, there's still enough direct access, recent footage from the conflict to negate the disinformation clowndance from the more persistent roleplayers.

The current multipolar world order exists on 2 nuclear arsenals. If one of them is removed, then on every square meter of the Earth there will be the power of only one superpower. Do you need such a world order? Do you agree to have the rights of livestock, not people?

I guess you'd have to ask why they'd target these things in the first place...but that's moot...

So an own goal then.....how sad.....expect spin from the Ru roleplayers....

"Death For Some, Captivity For Rest": Ukraine's "Last Battle" In Mariupol

Ukraine War: The 36th marine brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces said on Facebook, "Today will probably be the last battle, as the ammunition is running out."

The marines complained over a lack of support from Ukraine's military leadership: "No one wants to communicate with us anymore because we've been written off."

850 Ukrops surrendered yesterday, although Nazi supporters won't believe it.

Just like if every tochka-u missile used by Ukraine was tracked down and the serial number of the one that hit the train station was slap in the middle of a sea of serial numbers of Ukie missiles, they still won't believe it.

Just like the tochka-u with cluster bombs the Ukie Nazis sent into downtown Donetsk about 3 weeks ago.

IMO, it's time for Russia to quit soft-peddling and us US tactics.

A still from an undated video showing a Ukrainian soldier taking apart a Russian Orlan drone.Ukraine Ministry of Defense
    • Ukraine's defense ministry shared a video of a solider taking apart a Russian Orlan-10 drone Sunday.

    • It shows the camera was a regular Canon and the fuel cap was made out of a bottle top.

    • "We even thought of sending this 'cosmic' technology to our Western partners," the soldier said.

Apparently the Russians had a bad night....??

    upload_2022-4-11_15-45-54.png

.....I had seen on a couple of websites that this convoy was progressing southwards over the last day or so. I suppose its pretty easy to work out its location so this result only depended on the Ukrainians getting their guys to the right spot at the right time. Not saying it's genuine, but it's certainly possible......otoh excellent news if it is the real thing....

Oh and as for the bad news.....

I'm aware that all of you know that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently to tour Ukraine. There will be other countries that will supply Ukraine with what they need to try to defeat Russia and Putin's dictatorship. I hope Ukraine will keep the faith.

Russia does not possess the precision munitions or highly-trained personnel to use US tactics.

Lessons will be learned from Russia's defeat.
Russia is showing why brutality seldom wins wars
    Opinion by Max Boot
    [IMG]
". . . The brutalization of Russian soldiers, combined with the corruption of their officers, detracts from unit cohesion and therefore from combat performance. No doubt the abuse inflicted on Russian soldiers by their comrades makes them more willing to abuse civilians, but this, too, undercuts the professionalism of the Russian military.

Soldiers engaged in rape, looting and murder are distracted from their primary task, which is to close with, and destroy, the armed forces of the enemy. There is a reason Viking-style marauders gave way long ago to professional, disciplined armies obedient to the chain of command and bound by the laws of wars. It’s not just because disciplined armies are more humane; it’s also because they are more militarily effective.

Professional armed forces, such as the U.S. military, occasionally commit abuses, but they try to limit “collateral damage” to the extent possible not just because that is what international law demands but also because that is what military success requires. The Russians in Ukraine are learning what the Soviets learned in Afghanistan and the Nazis in Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union: Indiscriminate violence simply generates more domestic and international opposition, thereby creating more enemies than you eliminate. . . . "

That's because the Popes are advised by bishops from Eastern Europe so I don't blame them. They only know what they're told.
