In the opinion section of my newspaper today,"In the good old days, the CIA would have squashed North Korea's president like a beetle – no questions asked."

It does not matter what you think about Russia. Russia is a super power in fact. Russia is the only country in the world that can make the US into ashes. Not to mention other countries.

By the way, you know that the author of the book "The Conspiracy of the Holocaust" William Pearl proved that initially Hitler did not plan to destroy the Jews, wanting to simply expel them from the country. And the US, in his opinion, was the most obvious country where they should go.
But the representative of the US administration Michael Taylor said that the US will not change immigration laws for Jews. It was also said that the US does not believe that any country should bear a financial burden to save Jews.
Four months after the failed conference, Hitler made a new attempt to drive the Jews out of the Reich, organizing November 14, 1938, pogroms that went down in history as "Kristallnacht." Pearl writes: "The Germans were so sure that the" Crystal Night "would force the world to open the doors, that they were even prepared to release those Jews, who were able to obtain a visa to any country, from the concentration camps.
Four days after Kristallnacht, General SS Reinhard Heydrich, the national commander of the Gestapo, even sent an urgent telegram to the concentration camp inspector, and also personally notified the head of each concentration camp that he orders the release of those Jews who could emigrate within three weeks. However, no one anywhere waited for the Jews, and the Nazis launched the work of "death factories" to their full potential.
In May 1944, the second person of the Reich, Heinrich Himmler, offered the USA an unusual deal for the "sale" of a million Jews imprisoned in concentration camps. The cost of saving their lives would be two million bars of soap, 800 tons of coffee, 200 tons of tea, and 10,000 trucks. And the Germans were even ready to to reduce the price - the most serious point, trucks, they were ready to replace the cocoa.
Pearl wrote: "Himmler agreed to demonstrate goodwill. On August 21, 1944, having received twelve tractors of Swiss manufacture, he released and brought to the Swiss border 318 Hungarian Jews from the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Then another 1,368 people were released. All of them were also from Hungary, almost all Orthodox, including many rabbis. "
But even then, you could just drag out time, bargain, negotiate, and the conveyor of death, which in only one Auschwitz took 12,000 lives every day, was at least suspended. But Roosevelt said - "no."
By the way, Pearl believed that the then US president had to be tried together with the Nazis, for the actual connivance that led to the mass death of Jews.

For comparison. In the USSR, a Jewish autonomous region was established.

Russia is a regional power, it's not the former CCCP, purveyor of delusions..., lucky for you/ Russia that USA assisted with lend lease, otherwise Russia would be an obscure footnote in a dusty history book.

In the good old days, for example, in the 1950s, the CIA, the army and all the other organizations were very much crap in Korea....And later in Vietnam. McCain will confirm.

Something like the Muscovites POWs captured in astan, how many hundreds of russkis a**raped and split over an open fire for roasting? Well this is according to a fellow coworker of mine who trained with me in mechanics indicated to me while in Minneapolis, he was a young teenager when the Russians invaded, and his elders had much "fun" with POWs, the screams were horrifying?.

That you say because you have a low level of education. But if you were smarter, then you would know that:

    1. There was no help. There was a sale of weapons at greatly inflated prices. (When you buy bread for example in a store, you do not think the seller helped you. Is not it? Especially when the seller sets the price several times higher than the real just because you are hungry.)
    2. The number of weapons received was less than 2%. And it was not decisive for the course of the war.

You need to raise the level of your education. Otherwise you look ridiculous.

Euripides said - tell me who your friend is and I'll tell you who you are. Your friend is a sadist and a piece of manure. And who are you?

How does getting rid of Mr Kim make NK suddenly, manageable?
I don't really see the connection. More unmanageable I was thinking.

I haven't seen any signs from Russia or China of wanting to get rid of Mr Kim. That seems wishful thinking on your part.

Since when does that makes anybody a 'super-power'? Not industry, political weight, economy, scientific achievements, not combination of all these - but a scale of nuclear arsenal?

Yes. This makes a nuclear arsenal and other weapons. Because:

    1. Armaments are the highest technologies. Especially in rocket engineering and nuclear industry.
    2. In the world in fact, there is the law of the jungle - Who is strong, he is right. Look at the US and Libya for example. Or Iraq. Colin Powell with a test tube - remember?
    3. World Rule # 1 - If I have a gun, I do not care what kind of iPhone you have. If I wish, he will be mine.

All the talk about the number of gay per 1000 people, the number of designers and dog hairdressers is all liberal manure. For Feeble-minded sheep.

Are you referring to the USA assisting the allies with lend lease thereby aiding the fight against Axis forces, or direct sales of arms to USSR?

Is there a better effect from a bomb exploding above the ground or at ground level, or does it just depend on where you want the damage?

Well, for a start, both China and Russia have brought both military troops and materiel right up to their borders with North Korea. Perhaps the rest is my belief that neither Vladimir Putin nor Xi Jinping are fools! They have found a belligerent, "mouthy" North Korea to provide a certain amount of leverage and annoyance to the U. S. and our allies through the years since the Korean War, but that was before Kim was just at the threshold of possessing powerful nuclear weapons and intercontinental ballistic missiles, capable of striking any city on Earth.

Now, Kim's a danger too great to ignore -- for everyone, and if I'm right you'll see both China and Russia quietly taking the steps necessary to get rid of Kim and replace him with someone who proves to be a lot more obedient and much easier to control. Hey, a little polonium up the moron's nostrils, and then stick some other delusional stooge (handpicked by China) in Kim's place. It's not 'rocket-science', and fortunately for all concerned, it won't need to be....

It reflects somewhat on their culture, music, literature, poetry, makes one wonder, do these people ever laugh or smile? It seems so dark and gloomy?

The scale of your level and ignorance physically hurts me. Not as many other people who expressed ignorance towards me. I guess, just like nuclear bombs - not all ignorances are equal.
