Thank God for Tucker Carlson. The only concern the American senators seem to have towards Ukraine, is to have their pockets padded by the Ukrainian oligarchs. And if it means even the loss of American lives, not to mention thousands of Ukrainian lives, then so be it.

As for Biden, he always gave Poroshenko a monetary gift when visiting Kiev, which was to be used solely to buy American arms. Never to help the people who were suffering.

Now that you've proven your ignorance, how about some reality.

1 - Because the missiles in Poland are an existential threat to Russia.
2 - The missiles in Romania are and existential threat to Russia.
3 - And arming Ukraine is an existential threat to Russia.

Uhhh! You're not keeping up with the news. Ukraine was the wealthiest state in the Soviet Union, and its been under Washington's yoke ever since Nuland said: "Yat's the man."

Under the yoke huh? Just like Australia is 'under the yoke' and Japan is 'under the yoke'
and Taiwan is 'under the yoke' and Germany is 'under the yoke'.... yeah, right. Maybe the
people of Ukraine prefer to think of themselves as being European rather than Russian.

And nothing to do with having a prosperous EU nation on Russia's border, having
ten times the wealth of Russia, something all Russians can see?
You need to mention - tactical, medium and long range Russian missiles are an
'existential' threat to just about everybody.

I certainly enjoy your sense of humor. Ukraine wealthy? If Ukraine became 'wealthy' in your mind, then Greece would have roads paved with gold. Ukraine makes Greece look like Martha's Vineyard.

The ABM missiles that have been stationed in Poland and Romania are no threat to Russia at all. They are for downing Iranian missiles fired at the EU.

Now as Russia continues to aggressively invade other countries, possibly offensive missiles also will end up being stationed in Poland and Romania. That would be a threat to Russia, although not an existential threat.

If that does happen, and if Putin doesn't like it, too bad for him.

Arming Ukraine with guns and anti-tank weapons really is a problem only for invading Russians.

Putin's pathetic whining about "missiles that can attack Moscow from Ukraine" is nothing but pathetic whining. If he had not invaded Ukraine, they never would have been willing to host such missiles.

Putin should consider himself lucky that NATO sees no reason to place such missiles in Ukraine.

I've always known that. It just isn't very relevant. If we have to use our nukes, we will do so.

Which people in Ukraine, the Galician nationalists from Western Ukraine who Nuland put in charge by overthrowing the legitimately elected president, or the majority of the Ukrainians - who happen to be Russians?

When Yanukovich realized that he couldn't cut the social services 70% and double the price of gas to satisfy the IMF's demands, the nationalists in Galicia were furious that they wouldn't be able to join the EU and work on the streets of Berlin, so they decided to secede.

Brilliant Nuland told them not to, and so she had a coup. Ask yourself, who was paying the Galicians who were the poorest people in Ukraine to protest for 3 months - that is unless you thought they were trust fund babies?

In the 19th century when there was talk of making Ukraine a separate nation, the Tsar said it would never work if it included Galicia. So of course Victoria Nuland Kagan of the Kagan neo cons, put the Gallicians in charge of Ukraine. What easier way is there to rob and destroy a nation - which must have been her intent, because it's the end result.

It's hard to know whether some posters are propagandists with an agenda and think everyone's an idiot, or that they truly believe what they write?

Russia being able to wipe the US off the map .. is not relevant to MAD .. not relevent to our decision to use nukes.

This is ridiculous nonsense as written .. do you want to correct ?

No. U.S. weapons typically are estimated to have a 10% failure rate

    Who estimates that??

I know there have been some design flaws in past warheads, but I am not aware of any reason to doubt current warheads.

Correct on it not being relevant to our decision to use nukes. There is no need for any corrections to my statement.

I never said that it was not relevant to MAD. MAD itself is not relevant.

Never underestimate the ignorance of Americans. After all, most of them have never been outside the country yet they are foreign policy geniuses educated by the fake news media.

I read it in a guide to U.S. nuclear warheads. And design flaws is a vast understatement. They found that something like two thirds of the first general Polaris missile warheads would not detonate.

I heard all this talk during the 1960's and 1970's about how the 'Vietnamese people' are all one
people and they want 're-unification' and 'liberation' and they don't want Western values but poor
Marxist values (....sorry, the bleeding hearts did not mention Marxism or Communism.)

What we need to hear in conversations are words like 'Western values' and 'EU' and 'standard of
living' and 'Putin' and 'Soviet imperialism' and 'democracy.'

I like what Putin said about massing troops on the Urkaine border, 'What we do in our own borders
is no one elses business.' (Xi says the same thing - then gives Australia a 14 point list of things it
says we must change. But I digress.) So if Ukraine wants to join the EU and NATO then go ahead,
    it's within its own borders.

Yes wealthy. Ukraine could follow in the lead of nations like Poland if it can break the
tyrant's yoke. Taiwan and Sth Korea were corrupt backward nation, but given time
they became economic power houses. That would be a catastrophe to Russia - it
would show the Russians where they went wrong.
As an aside, both Putin and Xi had thwarted efforts in nuclear non-proliferation - with
them supporting both Iran and North Korea. It's time the West gave Ukraine and Taiwan
all the nuclear missiles it needs.

Which 'fake', the liberal media or the right wing media?
If you want to see 'fake media' go to China - even articles, such as those about the missing
tennis player, were removed wthin one minute.
And in Russia the Commission to study abuses of power in the Soviet days are now being
shut down. Prediction - Russia will close its internet to the outside world like China has.

When you say 'fake media' you need to advise - FAKE COMPARED TO WHAT COUNTRY?
