    2017: Jeremy Corbyn tells Labour activists: “The Labour party has become a government-in-waiting.”

    God you really couldn’t make it up, as they say. I’m so despairing of British politics it’s only the occasional belly-laugh I get from ridiculous drivel like this that stops me committing hari-kari!
