It wasn't covid that lost those jobs. Viruses don't kill jobs. It was lockdowns that lost those jobs.

How is Joe Biden going to bring back jobs, when all he's promising is more job-killing lockdowns?

These apocryphal stories are little change, raising these levels of theft still haven't kei up with price inflation in many areas, the costs of taking petty shoplifters is harder because of the ever lower employees to do even basic stocking.

But even more change of retail stores like Walgreens are closing because is far easier, cheaper and has a much more robust of selection buying online! I buy a 3 bottles of a vitamins or hand cream or Witch Hazel for hardly more the one price bottle, can get specialty and high end supplies, usually delivered in the next day! With a 100% no questions return with no costs for returns or packaging!

These stores are closing from that change. A friend did buy at CVS, but quit as they slowly stopped maintaining power carts has her walking slowed.

These are the core problems.

(Not to mention "Freedom Fighters" theatening to shoot cashiers because the stores ask for a mask to enter.)

 

Min wage won’t do much. You’re not supposed to live on Min wage. It’s designed for college kids or temporary jobs. If you’re surviving on Min wage you made a lot of bad life decisions.

 

No wonder people are pouring out of California like rats leaving a sinking ship. The problem is that they pile into states like mine -- Colorado -- and bring all their residual idiotic ideas about how society should be governed with them and inflict it on the rest of us.

We've gone from being a Conservative, real-Republican state here in Colorado to being a "Blue" liberal Democrat state in the past 20 years. It can't be because there's been some big mysterious outbreak of mental disease here. No, it's in-migration, and the lion's share of that has been from Kalifornia....

Yes they do. Many of them are Democrats that are fleeing a failed state they created. I knew a few. The fun part is when they start voting for High Density Housing to be forced into your suburbs. You'll get crime, drugs, and congestion on levels you didn't know could happen in a nice area.

When I was in High School in Oregon, the state was outdoor oriented and conservative. The California invasion changed all that in fairly short order. Oregon is now as liberal as states get with all the accompanying homelessness and rioting. It is like a pandemic. Perhaps we need to put a wall around California or give it back to Mexico.

Politicians will continue to spend all of our money they can regardless of party. All I want is much much less federal government.
