    • Insulting or personally attacking other posters (Rule 2)
<Rule 2> In 1950 KSA was living as the time of Christ... Beating women is forbidden in KSA.. If your wife is quarrelsome, you can beat her with a miswak (toothbrush) with a scarf attached to the end.

    <Rule 2/3/4>

Men cannot control their sexual urges.

seeing female drivers could cause millions of accidents on the road, and tens of thousands of deaths.

for the good of society, we must ban women drivers.

    ;)

The aftermath of it all, is to give the religious clergy more power. The opposite.

    I have a crazy idea:

let's require all nations to treat women and men as full equals.

violating this principle will force immediate economic and political sanctions.

disagrees with your cultural and religious beliefs? not my ****ing problem.

LOL.. Actually there is a whole lot of excitement about the inclusion of women drivers.. The Saudis think the accident rate will go down.

    but this goes against Islam.

men cannot control their sexual urges, as they are slaves to their peni.

women must be banned from driving, for the safety of all.

SA is short for Saudi Arabia in this thread. But nice deflection and usage of a subtle ad hominem attack.

Tsk tsk, all of those female F1 drivers are not from SA.

Doesn't take a genuis to figure out SA is centuries behind.

Unfortunately we in the west are required to be politically correct and contain our sexual urges, apparently the Saudi male only recently was deemed capable of restraining his.

Saudi men have a reputation for becoming easily excited, which is why they force women to dress in full body coverings. If they find this prospect of women drivers exciting perhaps they need more freedom in their lives.

There was really no need for these men to restrain their urges, given the disparity in their social and legal standings with women.

They've come a long way. Would that include an electric toothbrush if the woman was being especially insolent?

My experience in the Middle East has been limited so I'm forced to rely on other sources. It's the same with parts of the Orient and the South Pole.

Here is one source regarding a happy bunch of men calling themselves "The Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice". Something similar once existed in parts of the western democracies also but, thankfully, disappeared.

Any rational person would consider them 'pests' and yet we can easily see the way SA women are forced to dress, for example. Are you claiming they can't arrest people? http://time.com/4294154/saudi-arabia-religious-police-authority/

I believe the only thing that can change muslim society rules and beliefs is really powerful events to happen. The Internet invention is one.

If we recall history, women became fully emancipated at the start of WWs, when they worked in factories supporting men on the frontlines. WW were events that drastically changed society, lifestyle and traditional beliefs.

But even before, women in the west were not as badly treated as do Muslim women currently are.
