Saul Alinsky's Rule "number 1" -- let's see if liberals do this thing he suggests...

Saul tried to tell his readers and understudies-

Dear liberal- Make the majority think that what they believe is not longer in vogue- that nobody with any intelligence thinks that way. Make them believe that the way YOU think is the only way that intelligent people believe.

That way, they'll give up. That way, they'll submit.

That's exactly what libs do, the effect is multiplied because the media happens to be in bed with the Democrats.

The OP is very representative of the behavior of what I've been calling the 'institutionalized liberal'. IL's are not free thinkers. They toe the line and endorse what ever the elite of their collective tells them. The same could be said of conservatives, but it's mostly restricted to fringe groups as of now. Like bible thumpers as an example.

Those self proclaimed liberals have good intentions, but their policies have disastrous results. IE, allowing ILLegal immigration and giving government hand outs seems to them the humanitarian thing to do. But that's like feeding a hungry bear. The bear will become dependent on your hand out since it is much easier than foraging/hunting for food. And when your hand outs dwindle... then he digs in your trash, break in your house, and maybe eventually eat you and your neighbors.

 

Point of clarification....could you define more specifically who are the "bible thumpers"?

 

Anyone who thinks government and society as a whole need Jesus to function.

edit: I should also add proselytizing is a hallmark of bible thumpers too.

 

You don't get that the beliefs of which you probably speak are not obsolete. That makes you as much in the dark as the most confused liberal. Since the weakest point of liberals is their morality.

And just because both sides do something, doesn't mean that one side doesn't do it incomparably more than the other side.

Really? More Democrat. I would say it's MUCH more a liberal thing.

The average Democrat is just that- average. Average morals, average loving, average hateful, average angry, average happy.
The average Liberal has low moral perception, way too much hate for it to be healthy for them, is angry a lot, and is not very happy unless they're making fun or denigrating someone (which ain't happiness, I'll let ya know) .

 

I'm going to have to say that your perception isn't the greatest, but at least you recognize about liberals what I wrote the post about, so I'll leave you alone.

Any intelligent person knows that a book like I've mentioned, Alinsky's in this case, is a blot on moral and good humanity.

To use the techniques outline in it, knowingly or unknowingly, is shameful.

Liberalism 1) can only survive through dishonesty (because people don't want to live that way if they're smart enough to understand where Liberalism leads). 2) has most Liberals brainwashed through the very methods in Alinsky's book (that's why liberals think that they're morally and intellectually superior--what a joke. They're buying into Alinsky's and others lies without even know they're being duped - just keep telling liberals THEY are the smart ones, THEY are the moral ones. ha ha ha)
