I think the coolest part about this discovery isn't being talked about by the general public.

Looking at the Hubble image you can clearly see gas and space junk being sucked into the center of it. Which means it's the first time we're able to see debris being sucked into one. It almost looks like water swirling down into a drain. So awesome.

New way to weigh black holes...

Supermassive black hole weighed using new scale
30 January 2013 - The black hole at NGC4526's centre is believed to have the mass of six billion trillion trillion family cars

no such thing as black holes

    Fact!

Well, unless you compare them to like a hurricane.

because there is no black hole that matter collapses in.

The physics are wrong and few have th integrity to admit it

You've been making a lot of threads/posts lately denouncing established science. Perhaps you should publish a few detailed peer reviewable articles explaining why so many of the most intelligent scientists of our time are horribly incorrect, and collect your Nobel Prize(s).

I must agree. Someone saying that the current theories are wrong but proposing nothing alternate, or even research that suggests those theories are wrong in the first place, doesn't have much credibility in my opinion. In all honestly, that type of rejection is just a few hairs away from saying black holes don't exist because they aren't in the bible.

You don't believe that matter can collapse, or what? Or maybe you just believe that gravity cannot cause matter to collapse.

the whole concept of matter collapse based on gravity, is for morons

I dunno, why don't you jump out of an airplane and see what happens to your matter? But I take your statement to mean that you do not believe electrons can collapse inward on a nucleus. Is that correct?

I wonder what kind of effect you would see if a star were to pass directly behind the black hole, relative to your viewing position?

I think it would depend on how far behind the black hole and the size of the star, don't you.

Sure, why not? I'm just fascinated by the idea of a star's light trying to reach the observer with a light-sucking black hole in the way :D

in what part of your living cycle is that all happening.

Heck, we have fission and fussion in labs and nothing collapsing there either.

Nothing of your belief, does sh't for mankind!

    sure.....

and the math claims in black holes mass collapses but not in/under/on/around...............a sun

There is ZERO evidence of a collapse of mass, anywhere, ever in all science!

Black holes are just super gravity and super gravity can do several interesting things.
Do you know what is the job of GPS personnel ? they are synchronising satellite's clocks because tiny earth's gravity is bending time .

Telescopes have seen black hole sucking stars and they have listen to the radiosignals of their matter.

    in speculation, not nature

nothing to do with black holes, super gravity or any other concept thereof

if a black hole sucks all, then no radio waves are being emitted by matter going into a black hole

Common sense can assist anyone in realizing the concept is like believing in tail mud for religion.

it is not speculation , science does not speculate

Back holes are gravity , if earth has the capacity to bend time an exploding sun can do much more , specially if it explodes inward.
There is a black hole in the center of our galaxy that makes nearby stars have erratic orbits

    No Hawking radiation ?

There is a peer reviewed religion ?

    that's a stupid claim.

    Actually funny as all hell.

    what is a hypothesis?
    stupid claim

the eye of a hurricane is 'gravity'?

earth aint bending time. That's one of those 'speculations' dood.

And an exploding star, aint changin time either!

    more speculation

but from someone who actually has no idea what any of it means
mercury has an 'erratic' orbit and the black hole is in the idiots that cant see the progression of energy captured during its procession.

Same with stars close to the center of a galaxy or the wind around the wall of a hurricane.

any mass going into the center is coming out (conservation) as it aint going into a black hole, to a wormhole and then into some uttttter dimension. It aint hawkings radiation, just normal.

Kind of like a car or house getting caught up in a tornado. All pretty when it goes in and quite different when coming out.

    nothing magical about it

    i review

    do you

I call foul when i see the stupid put to writting. no matter the religious or scientific belief.

ie.... man can create gods daily, science is manmade to define the true 'god' (nature itself)

You question me by when I see the claims that you use to make your points as if you have the answer that satisfies you.

ie.... 'Yeah time dilation isn't proven !"

    It's funny.

why not ask me how I come to the scope of the conclusions?

We seriously have a human being out there that thinks the supermassive black holes are the same as the eye of a hurricane? Oh I get it because they both rotate and have a hole in the middle they must be the same? LOL LMFAO.
Nothing collapses in the laboratory because there isnt enough gravity. The same reason why planets dont start to form a sphere until they have enough gravitational pull and the same reason stars dont ignite until there is enough......well nevermind you wont understand it because you dont want to. The answer is "gravity".
BTW you can also calculate the size of the bh by the way the stars near it are orbiting. Its not open to conjecture. Its a fact. You can even see pictures of bholes feeding on stars if you do a 3 second google search.
Gravity is pretty much a fact.

no offense but your answer proves you dont know how a sun works. So please put in words how you "think" a star is formed and subsequently "turns on"
