Another Red herring ...... come on try a little harder. Orkney and Shetland is Scotland as is Stornoway Rhum Muck and all the parts of my nation your parasite have there eyes upon! I do notice you mention nothing of your nearest and dearest ..... Mrs Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg ....... you know who I mean don't you! Parasite number one! But a lovely English name don't you think? Regards and my commiserations for your future English generations Highlander
Some of us remember Shetland talking of it being THEIR oil, when "It's Scotland's oil!" was first being bleated by the little Scotlanders in the 60' and 70's. They should remember that Shetland is 300 miles from Edinburgh, but 200 miles from Norway. In fact the Islanders are doing it again now. They may well vote to remain in the Union. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/jun/30/shetland-independence-vote-scotland
Your view of England and mine are quite different. You live in your own conspiracy fuelled world and thus are not worth the effort. I asked you a perfectly reasonable, though obviously awkward, question and you respond with your customary bile. Did you read the link? With regard to Scotland and Orkney and Shetland, I doubt you even see the irony in your thinking. You rightly say Scotland's future is a matter for Scots to decide, yet you seem unwilling to admit the people of Orkney and Shetland should decide their future. Scots Nationalists' opinions are clearly more important than anyone else's, are they? Your commiserations are not needed. Without Scotland it's unlikely we'll ever vote rampant socialists back into power ever again.
Your actually pretty funny. Interesting though today its been reported that Scotland would NOT have automatic entry into the EU http://www.scotsman.com/news/politi...ip-after-independence-says-eu-chief-1-2680064 Kinda of makes Salmond look a little like a liar.
Aye right enough .... a corrupt press, owned by corrupt murdock AIPAC Tory empire ..... what would you expect them to say?? Never mind Leveson ...... I agree with Craig Murray.... http://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2012/12/leveson-wrong-answer-to-the-wrong-question/ So who's the bleater? Who's the petty minded? It's not me thats resorting to petty behavior ..... "bleated by the little Scotlanders" Well I'll help ...... its not north of the border ..... Its french, German decendants and degenerates and usurpers and those that are forced to support through ignorance of the facts or no honour, you pick! But I do notice you are unable to do other than resort to bad mouthing, what no facts to support your and the other ID 10 t's support for those that commit murder of their own "class", or resort to peddling drugs in a nation that should be a pillar of culture, education, virtue and all the seven graces...... wonder why? Regards Highlander
Another red herring ....... the Torys and Ukip are both attempting to opt out of Europe ...... and can't ...... what's all the fear mongering, they (Europe)don't want anyone to leave, in fact we might be better off, three of the seven members of ministers will become "Scottish", instead of needing to change our passports to ensure Thatcher, "God please make her live long, and have a clear understanding of incontenance and may she suffer for what she did to the English nation, never mind all the others she destroyed" made the Scots ake the name british on there passports! I for one am not British, I am Scots born and bred, and proud of it, as you should be of your nationality. But I have no need to be subservient to you or Thatcher's whim or any other vested interest, or any other nation! Regards Highlander
Aye I agree, but our education system does seem to be better than that south of the border. Divide and conquer has been a historical strength of the parasite you seem to support. The games up! Ooooh .... but my commiserations are just showing an empathy to those that are proud of their heritage in England which you your parasites and your party are making big roads into destroying. The English identity! Oooh and I did notice you never mentioned Mrs Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg and if you knew whom she is. ......? I'm waiting! But you will have it your own way .... you can lead a horse to water .......! Regards Highlander
Aye I agree, but our education system does seem to be better than that south of the border. I even notice Ghana is free education, perhaps you should send your children in England to this African nation to be educated seeing the Torys and Labour and Lib won't allow it in England! Perhaps everyone knows this particular video about independence as it's been around for 1 year but still I want to share it here because this forum needs it badly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?list=HL1354922413&feature=player_detailpage&v=5udgzGhkvT4
Aye, I have seen this before, and fairly balanced. But I can go through small villages all over the highlands of Scotland and see the monuments of those fallen in English wars. In the highlands 110 years ago, there was over one million people, after the passing of this time only 360000 live in the Highlands, the estates take over 9/10s of Scotland land removed from the nation by the Aristocracy in England. No more wars for my children! No more to be used as fodder. St Valley is still subject to a D notice by Churchill! Thousands of Scots a whole generation murdered stand to the last man last bullet! Regards Highlander
Ok, so you have prove that this is a "red Herring" or is it just more bluster on your part .. so highlanders let us see the proof, especially as the letter and reply can be seen on the MEP's website.

I'm interested in your thinking on this. You didn't explain last time you brought this up, but as you've brought it up again, please explain this time. Which seven ministers are you talking about and how would 3 of them become "Scottish"? The UK has one minister for Europe, David Liddington, who is part of the Foreign Secretary's team.
As I said previously, the information I cannot now access but this doesn't change the facts of the matter. These ministers are not elected but appointed. Regards Highlander
Well to start there is the obvious refusal of any party to allow a referendum to leave, even though most think its 1. a coming dictatorship 2. a coming united fighting force. 3. unanswerable to any as the ministers are unelected, the MEP only confirm and implement what's been agreed but the unelected council of ministers. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/nov/25/britain-europe-european-union http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2012/nov/17/eu-referendum-poll http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhGNoZfvRoA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qt2IApszmf8 Hope this helps ...... your colours are very visable! Regards Highlander
You have nothing to support your claim then; I thought not. And which ministers, appointed or otherwise, are you talking about??? We have always had only ONE European minister, an elected MP, who is appointed to his position in the government by the prime minister, so how can 3 of 1 become Scottish?!
I understand your beliefs are challenged, but look at the previous links and speeches from Nigel, not that I would ever agree with his politics, he also says exactly what I have said! Be open minded........ then make up your own mind ........ don't be afraid! Your still not helpless....... yet! Regards Highlander
My beliefs are certainly challenged as I certainly challenge other people's; that's politics. Nigel Farage does not say that 3 ministers will in any way become Scottish, nor does he deal in silly conspiracy theories or back the ones you love up! I am open minded, I always make up my own mind, and when asked to back up a claim I have made I don't try prevaricate. Why on earth should I be afraid or helpless, ever?
Why would it be a conspiracy??? It was stated at the time their were to be seven minsters, four from England, three from Scotland, a fact that I cannot access now, but stated at the time. None of these ministers were elected they were appointed! Thatcher may she be forever suffer for what she did, changed my passport and made it illegal to call myself Scottish. So I was forced to call myself British or I was unable to work. This was the manner in which the degenerate got around any minsters coming from Scotland! Just another example of thoughtlessness and ignorance on behalf of your political class in your German / French parasites run nation and country! Long may it run ..... can only be better for Scotland and our people! But you do have my commiserations, I'm always considerate to those less fortunate! Regards Highlander
Orkney and Shetland are part of Scotland (as technically, going by position in the North Sea, is Rockall). If Scotland votes for Independence, then Orkney, Shetland Western Isles etc will come with us..and if after that they wish to seek independence from Scotland and attach themselves to another country, that will be their prerogative. Don't expect it will take them 300+ years to make their point, either. I'd think their more sensible option if they were to choose not to stay part of Scotland would be to link up with Norway, tbh.
Your theory about the 3 ministers becoming Scottish isn't a conspiracy; it's just wrong. You do seem to love a conspiracy theory though. Stated by whom and when? There was never any suggestion that there would be 7 ministers. The idea is bizarre. And ministers are always appointed. You've said this before too. Again, where's your evidence? Back up your claim. It's never been illegal to call yourself 'Scottish'. Only if you can prove your claim. I'm not sure I'd call them parasites, but the French and Germans are often said to be running the EU, so you have a point. (And this from someone who isn't worried about the effect that EU membership will have on his 'independent' country.) Long may what run? You're more fortunate in at least getting your referendum, even if Salmond isn't eager to hold it. Other than that your commiserations are unnecessary.
That the letter which had not at that stage been finalised, written or sent? Oh, shucks......so it is......always google and look for the truth before taking anything on Scottish Independence in the Unionist media as incontrovertible fact. I'll give the link...........eexclusive-scotsman-eu-membership-story-qincorrectq-says-ec .but I don't guess that anyone will read it...so I'll just copy the first four paragraphs. Reports in the Scottish media that the European Commission has sent a letter to the House of Lords claiming an independent Scotland would have to re-apply for EU membership, have been dismissed by a spokesman for EC President José Manuel Barroso. The story, which originally appeared in the Scotsman newspaper, claimed that a House of Lords committee had been sent an official letter that contradicted SNP claims that an independent Scotland would remain a member of the EU. However a spokesman for Mr Barroso described the claims made in the article as incorrect and insisted no decision had yet been made on how to respond to the committees request to the EC President for a statement on an independent Scotlands EU status. Responding to a question from Newsnet Scotland, the spokesman said: "President Barroso has been invited to contribute to the House of Lords inquiry on the economic implications for the United Kingdom of Scottish Independence. The President has not yet repliedd
I don't know to what highlander is referring, tbh. Personally, I really don't want us to continue in the EU......but in the end if we did...instead of having no dedicated Scottish Representation at all bar on the Council for the Regions, and 2 non-Unionist MEPs, we would have ......... one member in the European Council....compared to none currently one member of the European Commission......compared to none currently one member of the Court of Justice.......compared to none currently one member of the Court of Auditors........compared to none currently Council of Europe member numbers would be the same as the UK currently has now.....as in the appropriate Government Minister for the subject being discussed. probably 9 members of the European Economic and Social Committee.........compared to none currently Probably 9 members and 9 alternates in the Council of the Regions (same as Finland and Ireland)....compared to 4 members and 4 alternates as a region of the UK. 12 or 13 MEPS........compared to 6 currently as a region of the UK...ie the same as Yorkshire and Humber. With the best will in the world......I'd have said that 4 members and 4 alternates in the Council of Regions, and 6 MEPs, 4 of whom sit along with their UK party brothers and sisters in the same political grouping, out of a total UK representation on all EU bodies of 124 (plus Government Ministers as appropriate for the EU Council).....gives us less dedicated representation in the EU than Malta has...and therefore no influence on decisions which directly affect Scotland as part of the UK.
Scotland would have more representatives in European institutions if it left the UK than it does now and that's a good thing if Scots want more federalisation. The EU does want to slim down the number of representatives as it enlarges, so all countries will lose some eventually. There was no guarantee in the last treaty that all countries would keep their commissioners (who are meant to represent the EU's interests, not their home state's). This was eventually struck out as a concession to Ireland which had such difficulties in ratifying, but will no doubt come back as the EU wants to reduce its size to around 2/3 of the number of member states.
