Due process is not a requirement in impeachment trials. It is a political activity, not a judicial one.

 

Why does the government do this on only a selective basis? That is, why does it let other officials off the hook, while others are held accountable? Obviously it's political, which makes it rotten as hell.

Actually, claiming that any of the list you provided is as bad as what Trump did over months and months and culminating with his incitement on Jan 6 is the same or similar is utterly ridiculous. In other words, an argument that Biden's words re:, "if they were in high school, taking Trump behind the gym to beat the hell out of him" for Trump's disgusting comments about women is the same as inciting the MAGA terrorist insurrection at the Capitol on Jan 6 is crazy.....

 

In one case, no bodily harm was actually stated. Only fight. Part of the chant of cheer leaders is "fight, fight fight".

In the other case, the President of the United States was threatened with bodily harm and death.

 

Well golly gee, you'd think Trump's DOJ and Trump's Secret Service would have arrested all of your group - care to guess why they didn't? Again, utterly ridiculous......and, as a result of Trump's conspiracy and actions, 5 people died and two other police officers took their own lives in the subsequent days. Well over 100 police officers were injured. P.S. I think GA will get Trump and I somehow don't think the DOJ is done with Trump yet. Trump isn't worried about this impeachment trial, other than how his image will take a hit, Trump is worried about potential criminal legal problems.

 

It is Pelosi, Schumer and the democrats pushing the impeachment. The statements by the democrats were much more pointed, yet this same group that wants to punish Trump see nothing wrong with the statements by their fellow democrats.

Well, I don't have any proof. I delete the emails after I donate so they don't get to double-dip if I forget that I donated already.

Bush Chaney, Clapper et.al did not have thousands of followers that invaded the house of our Republic looking to cause damage and injure politicians and stop the legal process that was taking place. They also did nor have a rally that spoke to going to the Capital shortly before the incident took place and did not express their love when the finally asked them to go home.

I don’t agree with Liz on this one. I’m a strong believer in people being responsible for themselves. I don’t even agree with that one case where the girl told her boyfriend to kill himself and he did and she went down for it. Is she evil scum? Yes. Did she break a law? Not in my opinion. If trumpcan get impeached on what someone “thought” he meant then there goes free speech.
