I got news for you, we've always had advertisements for medicines during our televised events, none of that is a new development. That's because unlike other countries, our medicines are produced by the private sector instead of the state.. and guess what? our medicines are actually some of the safest and most effective medicines in the world, if running your adds is the tradeoff we have to deal with, that's not too bad of a trade off.

The Pfizer add during the Grammy's wasn't even offensive. I'll tell you what was offensive, those damn Viagra adds that they kept constantly running during the MLB playoffs all those year ago. It's like.. we get it, you have an old man penis... quit making your problem our problem by constantly making sit through your old man penis adds every commercial break, and twice during the seventh inning stretch (pun intended).

 

Had this been a performance portraying God and something Christian, I can only imagine the uproar from the left.

Yes, I absolutely am comparing this to what a couple of kids do for Halloween, and quite frankly I think it's hilarious that there are still people out there who still believe this means the fall of society. Pfizer itself has been operating a continuing criminal enterprise since 2004 at least, so I'm not sure of your point regarding corruption. I do agree with your point about the Viagra ads.

 

Oh please. You realize the Grammy awards have Christian music awards, right? The Christian music group Maverick City Music tied Beyonce for most Grammys won this year.

Ever heard of a little band called Mumford and Sons? They performed their song "I Will Wait" at the Grammy's before, which is literally about repenting from sin, and forgiveness from Jesus.. Heck, not only did they perform their song at the Grammy's, but their album "Babel" (which is full of biblical references) even won album of the year at that same award show... and there was no uproar about it. You're clearly wrong here.. deal with it

The 'fall of society' can be judged or defined in many ways, not just what garbage is televised.

To me a 'society' with a government that demands citizens take toxic experimental drugs into their bodies has already collapsed. A 'society' with a government that has been known to be the largest purveyor of violence in the world, to borrow from MLK, has already collapsed.

The replies to this regarding Christian awards that no one actually sees are invalid to this discussion. A post of a video for a faith based song is just as invalid. So where exactly did you offer anything that "destroyed" my post?

I've heard many people make that claim that the government demanded that they take one of a variety of different medicines, and the vast majority of those people who I have heard make this claim didn't take any of them. It's all just more of the same imaginative self proclaimed victimhood.
