What they are saying is that conservatives should be able to stream constant lies about everything.

Everything that trump says is a lie. He is incapable of telling the truth about anything.

Does a roomful of idiots know anything? Of course they do. They know how to lie about everything.

In this case, they are using their communication conduit to place their thumb on the political scale. It crosses a line. I don't like Trump and assume everything he says/tweets is false. I don't need my information chewed and spoon fed to me.

The underlying communication standards are not relevant. In fact, the TCP/IP standard, which your browser uses doesn't care about the underlying standards or even the routes the packets take. They have nothing to do with the web service.

No one knew the real story, but they posted anyway. That's the same thing as Trump speculating about the Morning Joe hosts, or suspecting that mail-in voting is going to be used to alter some votes, because frankly until this virus no one had ever suggested using mail-in voting for over 300 million voters.

You don't see speculation as different from posting incorrect information as fact?

This is Twitter's "Head of Site Integrity". He's responsible for enforcing Twitter's rules.

I'm sure he goes about it in a very fair and balanced manner.

What is a fact to a person? Okay, let me start off by condemning what Trump said about the Morning Joe host, it was out of line and for someone who experienced that kind of thing with Crossfire Hurricane you'd think he'd be more sympathetic to the idea of accusing people without proof, but whatever.

I can't control him, nor do I have any intentions of ever doing so. As far as mail-in ballots, it might not be a "fact" insofar as we don't know. Of course, it's more dangerous to vote as normal but then what if there were some machete carrying guy(or a gun carrying guy) in the voting lines lol. So there's always a danger.

But I think we can/need to be assured of a neutral vote count that won't all of a sudden turn up the dead people and voting twice or whatever.

The intelligence community says that Russia worked to try to get Trump elected. So if anyone repeated that, it can be defended.

Can you ask a question or make a comment relevant to the topic and my reply?

    An interesting argument, but no.

Twitter - revolting and partisan as it is - is doing what Twitter does.

This was looked at VERY carefully by a gaggle of lawyers before Twitter proceeded.

Even with a conservative-heavy SCOTUS, they're on solid ground.

They can't claim hands off when they go hands on. Ya just can't have it both ways.
