I guessed you missed the Armenian part. I would ask you if you know about what happened to my ancestors long after slavery in this country ended, but you’ve already made it clear your history knowledge is somewhat lacking.

I did miss it but it's still irrelevant , but lets talk about it if you like. Why don't you tell us about US Armenian slavery and no equal rights in the US until 1964?

How would I know? Since my ancestors were bastardized.

~ It's already fixed. Americans are no longer damaged by oppression and slavery. Some people just do not pay attention. Or perhaps there are those who like to think themselves as victims. They are slaves to their own attitude and resentment.

There's that lack of history knowledge again. It was a genocide.

I know about the genocide. It was not on American soil. We kill the **** out of other country citizens on a daily basis. Ask for sympathy if you want it. We're talking about slavery here sweetheart.

Well whining certainly won't change it, but you seem to think dollars will.

You know what’s worth pondering? Slavery was so horrific, so devastating, so incredibly terrible, that only money can fix the problems of people who never suffered from it. Amazing.

~ Many people have suffered and many still do - but it has nothing to do with racism. Society evolves. We used to amputate before antibiotics came along. We had paddled cells and straitjackets for psychotic patients before psychology evolved. We live , learn and discover . As we do society improves for the better. There is no Garden of Eden.
Some choose to live in the days of the past and "victimize" themselves. That is their freedom in the USA. They can hate all they want. I believe those folks would benefit by psychotherapy / group therapy. Anger and hate only consumes the host. It is wasted energy.

Ask for sympathy if you want, slavery ended a long time ago. But the special people still see it as a money maker.

~ Oh - you may be due some reimbursement from the U.S. government ! Italian immigrants were discriminated against in America during the early 1900's - even later.

You're the one asking for sympathy with your foreign born ills. Your reply to slavery with an Irish Armenian past is desperate and pathetic. We have screwed over and killed far more closer to home. American Indian, Mexican, you know indigenous people. Irish and Armenian aren't even on the roster.

I didn’t ask for anything, but feel free to show me where I did. I pointed out an imperfect world which, for some people, only guilt and a check will fix.

Should the children of those that were convicted of crimes be held responsible for restitution? Then, the guilt passed to the next generation?
