Seriously, Ron Paul Kicked Butt Tonite!

"Islamic terrorists" are a minute threat to you and me, relatively speaking, even compared to the previous Emmanuel Goldstein du jour, the Commies.

More than the that, what threat from them exists is greatly enhanced by interventionist US foreign policy motivating them to target the United States. That's a key point Ron Paul brings up, which interventionists automatically dismiss as "blaming America first!" despite the fact that the CIA itself agrees with him on that very point.

 

By not provoking them by, for example, causing the deaths of half a million Iraqi children with trade sanctions.

 

Preexisting ideology is a factor, but Washington's interventionist foreign policy greatly exacerbates the problem. By destabilizing the region and by being a major direct agent of death, destruction, and impoverishment "over there" it fertilizes the soil of ideological violence. Islamic fundamentalism may be the seed, but it requires outside economic, social, and political factors to grow, and Washington's actions in that region have be a major contributing factor to an atmosphere conducive to allowing that seed to bloom.

Well...we do corrupt their money. Or, more specifically, the Federal Reserve and fiat dollar international currency reserve standard corrupts the worldwide monetary system

People are to wrapped in the idea that America can do no wrong. So what half a million kids died. So what we used Depleted Uranium and no one knows how many people are going to die from it.

It doesnt matter Saddam who was a former ally had to go. Why because " he was killing people" and had " WMD".

So instead we bomb Iraq to the stone age to spread freedom!

I have a question. And this is an open question to anyone who takes the same stance as you n this issue.

Islam has been around for over a thousand years. Why has Islamic terrorism only become a threat in recent years? If their ideology is the root of the terrorism, wouldn't we have been dealing with Islamic terrorism for hundreds of years?

 

Dont expect a rational response. All they know how to do is just keep repeating what they MSM keeps feeding their little brains.

That and garbage like "soft on terror" whatever that implies. I guess not killing every muslim on the planet just in case is soft on terror!
