Why do you need to explain to others what they mean?

Would it not be a learning experience for you to ask when you are confused?

Haven't you said before you are half white and have a white husband? It's probably his white privilege doing so well for you.

Or she could give it to Trump's campaign. That would be some funny stuff right there.

lol...do you think people who are partially white aren't recognized as visible minorities? I, like President Obama, am identified as black...that's what's on my birth certificate, my employment records and if you saw me, you'd identify me as a black woman...just like President Obama is identified as the first black President. I don't enjoy any privileges from racists and those of your ilk.

I have to work for what I have...and that's why I'm offended by trump cultists who often think they are owed good paying jobs when most of them aren't educated enough to be qualified for them.

Everytime a trump cultist says something, they reveal what they are...every-single-time.

    Pathetic.

By ever measure, blacks have done worse under Obama. I'm a "minority" too, but not black. Notably you didn't say you are either and I suspect from your messages that you are as much a minority as it Elizabeth Warren.

Your message is another example how the former Democratic Party is instead the Corporate Fascism Party - for which cult following minions of Democrat matters rant out hatred of what the Democratic Party was. For example, the new Democratic Corporate Fascist Party is rabidly pro war and pro global super rich.

You just claimed that everyone on food stamps and welfare are lazy and stupid. I'll be quoting you on that in the future.

What she explained is that she is doing well because she works hard and has an MBA or such - not like the millions of unemployed blacks and tens of millions of people on food stamps and welfare because - her reason - they are lazy and stupid people.

Really need to remember that. Libchik says people in poverty are in poverty because they are lazy and stupid. Obviously, we should terminate all welfare programs with her reasoning. Just send them a letter stating they are receiving no more food stamps, no more aid for dependent children, no more housing assistance and no more welfare payment, with the note reading "go work you lazy dumb ass."

Whatever means President Obama had to use to use to get a higher education is fine by me. He's brilliant and has more than paid back any benefit he received from the country.

So if he didn't actually earn things on his own merit but was essentially give everything BECAUSE of the color of his skin then that's also just fine? Nice!

So, you identify as black, yet you're still half white. Does that eat at you? The way you talk it seems it does.

BTW, my niece and nephew are also mixed. White mom and black dads. They have the most beautiful complexions I have seen. There is no doubt looking at them that they are 'black'. Gosh, I love those kids.

I hope that admission doesn't mess up your thinking of me and my ilk. Some of my ilk are just like you. Well, in how they appear to be black, that is. Because I guarantee they do not and will not have your hateful attitude. We teach them better than that.

Having a non homogeneous student body is a benefit for all students and to America as a whole, as it promotes a greater breadth of thought.

That's why we look for candidates in other states and outside the US, too.

If someone has been identified as being wanted for their diversity and is encouraged to attend the school, I really hope they take us up on that.

Even just with race, look at what's going on around us.

We NEED greater diversity in the classroom.

lol...you and your kind are definitely NOT like me. And there's nothing about anything you say that does anything except validate exactly what my assumptions about you and your ilk are.

    My ignore finger is itchy...

Agreed. I also could never fault anyone who takes the initiative to find a way to educate themselves when they don't have access to fair resources.

But of course trump cultists, who represent mostly the uneducated would be resentful of someone like President Obama who spent a lot of his young life pursuing higher education. Uneducated people don't have the ambition or drive to achieve what he achieved...they want something for nothing.

I suspect the racism, including police action in some places, that we're seeing today has been there all along.

Maybe you should take a look at the typical Obama voter, and tell us how 'educated' they are. Surely there's a BLM rally somewhere. I know they're all future astronauts and all...

It looks like Illinois, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania are sure to switch. Tossups include NH, NC, MO, IN, NV and FL. Only Nevada out of those six was held by a Democrat. With Clinton in the White House if the Democrats hold Nevada, they need just one of the remaining five to regain control of the senate.

I agree, at this point what is the difference of winning the electoral college 332-206 or 382-156. All it takes is 270 and in states where Clinton has at least a five point lead, she has 272 already. Putting money into the senate races may be the difference between a 50-50 tie or a 53-47 Democratic edge which is certainly possible. Not filibuster proof, but with a Democratic senate majority leader and Clinton in the White House, look for Reid's nuclear option to be used quite a lot of times.

Normally I would be hollering at the top of my lungs every time that is used, but with the stupid Republicans throwing away any chance at gaining the Oval Office by nominating Trump, they deserve it. I'm with you, a good strategy is to win by 7 or 8 points and gain a couple of more senate seats. At least that is what I would do. The house will remain under Republican control, but the Democrats should have a net gain of around 15 seats. A bit of extra money there could add 5 more. Not enough to gain control, but enough to narrow the margin from 30 to ten.

Providing opportunity to those in need with potential benefits the nation - whether it's Barack Obama or Ben Carson.

Why would any nation wish to diminish itself by squandering talent?

The nation functions best with two (at the very least, two) functional parties with a pragmatic approach to governance (which is, ultimately, in both their interests.)

I regard as typical hypocrite McConnell's petty stunt of refusing to allow the Senate to discharge it's constitutional duty in regard to the appointment of eminently-qualified centrist Merrick Garland as cynical partisanship of the most odious sort.

Paralyzing the process for at least eight months so that the Supreme Court is unable to function as intended does not serve the nation.

Americans are well-served by giving him the boot, especially since his Democratic equivalent Reid will not supplant him.

Nearly without exception, who BLM has been protesting is a Democrat mayor, Democrat sheriff, Democrat governor and Democrat president - but those who vote will overwhelming vote for who they are protesting.
