Should Ukraine adopt Judaism as it's state religion?

why would Ukraine make the religion of the Jews, their faith?

 

nothing is comparable as everything is unique, thats a gift from the most high.

As for Ukraine, it happened before, why not again?

 

Like Ronstar pointed out, there is no evidence of the Khazars converting to Judaism in large numbers.

When it comes to stuff like this, the question is not "Why not?". The question is "Why?". So, why should the Ukraine adopt Judaism as its national religion?

The Khazar Kingdom cannot be used, since the Khazar Kingdom was religiously diverse and there is no evidence of the widespread conversion of the Khazars to Judaism.

 

The Khazar Empire adopted judaism as its state religion and as your post illustrated, the Aristocracy, at the least, converted to judaism. That is the general premise of the OP.

As for your first question, its already been addressed, see post 5 and the last paragraph of post 7.

 

The official religions of the Khazar Kingdom, as listed by Wikipedia, were Tegriism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Paganism and Religious syncretism.

About adopting Judaism as state religion ... why not? If Ukrainians want ... I mean, no one can impose a religion to a people, today [in the past this happened], it should require a referendum ..,

Neither side has officially declared war.

Still, are you seriously arguing that a country that has a 0.1% Jewish population and virtually no military should adopt Judaism as its national religion under the assumption that millions of Jews will pour into the Ukraine and join the Ukrainian military so that they can fight a country that they are not even at war with and would be beaten by in any case?

 

Isuppose that really will depend on whether the russians declare war, doesnt it. its a thought.
