No because it tempts men into breaking the covenant with God, about not fornicating.

Also for their own safety, because it could attract rapists, since they are teasing men.

Since I am about to go to bed, I'll say this.

Do women have the right to walk around topless? Historically, women went topless. Not in recent American history, but yes, history. Since the fallacy of tradition does not hold water we should rely on science and human response to nudity, yes? At this point all of you that still care can make your arguments about what research should we listen to or believe, blah blah...if this would increase violence towards women or diminish it, et al.

I could, in turn, say that I don't really want to see saggy human skin and prefer the traditional American viewpoint of wearing (*)(*)(*)(*)ing clothing. Is this a fallacy, sure. Appeal to tradition is a debate fallacy, but...I don't care. Some traditions like clothing I prefer. Does it go against the grain of my views on liberty and individualism, yes, but...I still don't want to see anyone that doesn't look like the Mighty Thor naked. Now, this makes me illogical and discriminating, I'm sure, but...don't care.

    It's an opinion.

Does that mean that I approve all traditions? No. I like tomatoes. Tomatoes are a vegetable. Does that mean I like all vegetables? No. To associate my feelings about saggy breasts and shriveled penises in the public square with child labor, interracial marriage, etc is absurd and wrong.

So now I'm done. Feel free to find me an antiquated or whatever in my absence. Adieu.

Heretic. Violating cultural marxist progressive dogma is quite perilous.

I am not ashamed to say that I voted yes, as long as you were good looking. Because I don't want to see some fat heifer with her boobs hanging down to her ankles.

    LOL Strawman much?
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straw_man

You are making the Appeal to Tradition, a fallacy.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Appeal_to_tradition

So denying women the right to walk around without a shirt is traditional, how does the tradition of denying basic rights make it correct and right? If your argument is nothing more than an appeal to tradition, then everything else I mentioned is relevant.

You say that as if libertarian ideals place zero restrictions on personal liberty. Expound, sir... carefully.

I would love to see a Libertarian who favors denying women the same rights of men.

Non sequitur/strawman. I asked you to expound on your reply to my comment....which had absolutely nothing to do with gender.

    Sure it does.

Men are allowed to go without a shirt.
    Women are not.

I reject the idea that the premise of allowing equal treatment under the law is social Marxism. Marxism is an economic model, not a social model addressing whether or not women my expose their breasts. Being that I was a Libertarian for quite some time, I believe I have a pretty good idea how social Libertarianism applies to this issue.

and this v v v is my reply, correct?

now tell me were gender is referenced in either one of those statements.

expound, or not..but I'm not interested in your non sequiturs and strawmen games.

I am not interested in your silly games. Please demonstrate how the Libertarian idea of personal freedoms applied to both sexes is some how social Marxism.

I'm obviously trying to get you to reveal what arbitrary point...if there even is one...that you "libertarians" draw the line on common decency and social mores <---the purposeful, incremental erosion and redefining of which, is cultural marxism.

By your deflections, it appears you aren't interested in getting into the philosophical nitty gritty of your ideology...or having your nose rubbed in a few of its flaws, so good night.
