I care what others think of me, just not so much as I used to.

 

Brown those chops with your favorite rub. Take them out of the skillet then throw in some Mexican or Italian stewed tomatoes. Throw in appropriate spices, 1 cup of Beef Bullion and a cup of your favorite rice (I like Basmati white rice). Replace pork chops on top, sprinkle some paprika on, cover and bake at 350F for about 45 minutes.

Mornin' SMW. Have a good day.....my coffee thought was on how daybreak has pushed back and it is back to being dark out at 5am. Also hard to believe football season has returned. First pre-season game last night was with eh NY Giants and Buffalo. Oh and.....

 

Finally made it to work. Swear I caught every red light on the way in. Got whiplash from stopping and starting so much... I should go home.

 

Here we have the main drag in town on timed lights. If you catch a red you're gonna hit all the reds but if you catch a green, you're gonna cruise through all of them if you keep a steady speed.

Having probs with my pc at work. it's been acting weird for a couple of months now and this morning I got the dreaded blue screen so I called the help(less) desk, even though it re-booted OK. They sent a tech this afternoon and when I described the probs, he said the best way for him to tell what's wrong is to listen to it running. So he holds his ear down close to my laptop and looked for all the world like a doctor diagnosing a patient. Ran a disk scan and got an error he'd never seen before so he wrote that down... and brought me a new keyboard.

Reminds me of the time I called in a complaint (toilet wouldn't stop running) to the front desk of a beach hotel in Aruba. They sent a man around to replace the seat. Go figger.

Anybody else glad Monday's over?

Well the work is over for Monday.....but Monday still hasn't moved along. Need something to speed up it up.

Yep, that's about how it went. I tried to convince him a bigger monitor would solve my problems, but I don't think he went for it.

 

Awwww, Barney's my fav. I was always jealous of that broad Thelma Lou. She just didn't treat him right.

Asking for a bigger monitor was your mistake. You should have asked
for a bigger hammer.

Experience has shown me that shooting any technician, mechanic or plumber
in the leg with a 12 gauge gets better results and especially if you don't let
them leave the room. You'll be surprised at the results.
