Mornin, y'all. First day of wearing boot at work. Asking for help isnt a familiar role for me. Probably why they turned me down when I asked for a porta potty to be placed outside my cube. Who knew the ladies room was so far away?

Yes, I have reservations for May. Looking forwatd to it. Hoping the notoriety doesnt create crowds!

One reason for its rating was the blend of beaches and history. Thats my fav part, too. :)

More like they'll snap their fingers and have the maitre'd bring them
a cocktail and then proceed to act like they'll hand it to you.
Then at the last second ... dump it on top yer head.
Seen it too many times in Film Noir.
Keep in mind that in Film Noir the Chickie Pooh is usually the
    bad guy.

Southern Living frequently has articles about Texas. Galveston's history is interesting,

I bought, "Issac's Storm" to read and recently on TV there was a segment about Issac Cline and the storm. Says a lot for the spirit of Texans.

Lots of interesting stories in Galveston. I like taking tours of the old mansions and hearing about the families who lived there. Lots of money on the island in its heyday. Also ties to the mob later on. Good stuff... and a beach!!! Lol
