boy it’s tough to nail down a hop. They all bring a uniqueness and purpose. A hop variety that makes a great beer great might make another beer horrible. If I were to name a favorite it’s citra. It’s probably because I love summer and citra rocks in a lite ale or session type beer that go down so nice on a hot summer afternoon.

Yup now is a good day to stock up on the bourbon, the turkey, yams, brown sugar, marshmallows, cranberry sauce, corn on the cob, and pumpkin pie.

That is the traditional New England Thanksgiving feast.

We had turkey last year so this year my sister is baking a ham instead.

Wild pigs are endemic to Europe, Asia, and North Africa.

Moses' stepmom the princess must not have had any good pork recipes so pork became un-kosher when Moses took over the Israelites in North Africa (Egypt).

The Greeks had great roast pig feasts and recipes. The Europeans and Russians adapted Greek feasts as well. Thus pork and ham are both popular in Europe.

Speaking of roast pigs, I like the TV show 90 day Fiance' -- mainly cuz its interesting to see how people in other countries live. One American guy goes to meet his new wife at her home in the Philippines. Her family throws them a big feast, complete with a whole roasted pig where everybody walks over and grabs a handful of pig for their plate. He freaked. Nearly lost him a bride since her family was insulted, but theyre still hanging on. They overlook a lot for a chance to move to America. ;)

Traditional Thanksgiving meal in Texas calls for ham and turkey. Esp my family cuz dad doesnt eat bird of any kind. Mashed potatoes AND candied yams, green bean casserole, cornbread dressing, giblet gravy, cranberry sauce (I like jellied) relish tray -- stuffed jalapenos and celery, deviled eggs, olives, green and black, green onions, pickle spears.

Pumpkin and pecan pies. Some kinda cake.

Everybody takes home leftovers and enjoys for days.

I think it also has something to do with WW II vets.
I think most of them don't care for bird.
My old man didn't like Chicken let alone Turkey.
My Mom was such a good cook I liked most all her
meals.Except her dreaded Ham casserole.Where it was
mostly SPAM.With Pineapple on top.smeared with ketchup.
The smell alone eminating from the Oven was enough to drive
away even those like Jehovah's Witnesses going door-to door
    at dinnertime.I swear ta God.

it depends on the moral compass, some consider it moral since its consensual and a form of euthanasia.

some consider it immoral since it encourages heart disease and sudden death from myocardial infarction

Yes and Bobby Darin when Flounder was young.
I've pictured him in the Catskills playing in those lodges and sounding like this so many times.

Ill bet he has a great turkey recipe he is sharing in the cosmos. I also know he insisted there was something so big out there and when our time comes he is gonna meet us to say, I told you, Honey. Ahaha
He was one of a kind, for sure.
Time to get out of this chair and dance with my steel toe shoes cosmic dance partner.
    Happy Thanksgiving Floundah..Whereever you are!
