    Yah know Mary, for Christ sakes you didn't tell us you were running the 'Around the World 3 Times Marathon'. We would have packed you some granola and a 40oz'er.

    Speaking of Jewish ... Many American Jews celebrate both Christmas
    AND Hanukkah. But bear in mind the Jewish faith does not recognize
    Jesus Christ.And their Hanukkah { Festival of Lights } lasts for how long.?
    In around the same times as our Christian celebration on the week of the
    26th Of December.When will fellow Jews start their Hanukkah this year.
    It's a little different each year.
    Next year or 2018 Hanukkah starts early on the 2nd of December.
    During Hanukkah gifts are given each night and game playing of sorts
    is also the encouraged tradition.
    I wonder if this year some Jews might play ... Spin the Trump.

    Live a little learn a lot.Or if in Cloister like a Nun or Monk ...
    Whatever !
    Those factotum { man Friday } might delight the Greasy Spoon crowd.
    The Donut and Potato Pancake bunch.
    During Hanukkah fried food in oil or potato pancakes { latkes }
    or deep fried donuts { sufganiyot } that are then filled with jam/jelly
    and sprinkled with sugar are traditional.

    I have a real problem with Today's Modern Jew.I respect those who
    adhere to their given Faith.Faith is very important.Whether Christian,Catholic,
    Jewish,Hinduism,Buddhism or Muslim.I studied all of them in High
    School,as educated by the Order of the Holy Cross Brothers.The same who
    run Notre Dame University.That is why guys like Lou Holtz are such inspirations.
    He is totally fair,honest and believable.His Career speaks for itself.
    Plain spoken and honest to a fault.That is what I understand most.

    Most Jews try to align themselves with the dominant political class. Sometimes it gets them into trouble, but it is probably the main reason they have survived as a distinct religious and ethnic minority for thousands of years.

    Yeah ! Christmas sounds good.Not so mush a few years ago.
    But things have corrected themselves.
    Take Christmas out of Americana and do so at yer own peril.
    The same can be said of the NFL.
    Fast Food.
    Sex ... that is very mush up for debate .

    You can always read Chaim Potok's books and learn a lot about the Jewish religion. Not only learn about the religion you will get to read some good books. Start with "The Chosen" and keep reading.

    Did a little shopping yesterday and its crazy out there. Glad I did most of mine online. Except i got an order today with 2 items I ordered 5 of. Grrrrrr.

    You would need to be outside of the city limits for warning shots to be legal.

    And even then they are nothing more than a waste of ammo and a bluff.

    Works on tv but not in real life.
