i never had the privilege of driving a camaro z/28, my first automobile was a van that i lived in during the cuban missile crisis.

 

I'm glad I got that out of the way.

I did my annual smashing of my thumb.

I did it the same way I always do. By wrapping my hand around the trailer door latch handle when pushing it closed.

I'll remember to not do that for another year.

It's my Saturday morning.

I know I know -- it's only your Wednesday however.

 

My high school reunion is in Vegas this coming June.

That's when I plan to be down there.

Some of us -- the geriatric athletes society lettermen -- will be hiking the Charleston mountains.

The best hike up there is the waterfall trail. It is like a piece of Heaven on Earth.

We'll do that in the daytime and play poker at the casino at night.

For me it is the annual jamming and breaking of my little toe on the living room furniture.

 

Squid and/or octopus taste really good when simmered for a long time then chilled and mixed in a green salad with lots of olives and vinegar. That's how the Greeks (in Greece) eat it.

Food is food and is a gift of God and should not be shunned or slandered.

Ya' jus' gots ta' know the right recipe for it all !!!

My cat is like a child and always needs to be fed first before I try to cook or eat at all.

Otherwise he will sneak up and steal any meat on my counter top or plate including a whole steak or a whole fish.

 

That would be laying yes.

 

Little squids deep fried - crunchy - no rubber.

I do not like the texture, but I could eat it if I was hungry enough.

 

I had the little squids for lunch at work one time. They were stir-fried. They seemed alright, but I felt like I should run through the building with all their tentacles hanging out of my mouth.

 

Um what does said cat do when you are near fasting.?
Like having a plate of Peas and carrots for din-din.
I bet said cat manages to go outside and spread gossip.

For those who might dare to suggest what fried rubber

Um ... a lot things seem alright at first.Like the first time a
grade schooler poops his pants.Like ... No biggy.
He's done it at home a few times.

 

grade schoolers only poop their pants because the bathrooms are out of order, and it is a big deal if there are two grade schoolers sitting behind who witnessed it and giggle because they heard the farts.

 

They need to be battered and deep fried.
Stir fried squid is hot steaming snot - the French love it.

 

Good thing there ain't too many Greeks in Alaska ... huh.

 

Here's what I learned when in Europe.
The French are the Cooks.
The Italians are the Lovers.
The Germans are the Mechanics.
The Irish are just Irish.Usually in Green sweaters.

 

Calamari is not Squid.And Squid is not Italian.
Maybe Calimari is a nerdy Italian.
Like some Italian who gets fried { blitzed } while on vacation
in Buenos Aires.Or Hollywood.
I wonder what Sonny Bono thought of Calimari.
No I doesn't.

Calamari, polpo and scungilli are about the only Italian foods I don't care for. Anything else is fair game.
