I like tonic water with lots of lime... and vodka. Not often, its a sometimes thing.

I keep a keg of carbonated tap water in the kegerator next to the beer. My wife buys this dehydrated lime juice (comes in a packet like Splenda or sugar) you can get lemon too. Makes for a good mixer. Can also use those packets that are intended to add flavor to bottled water, cherry limeade is pretty popular. Leave the booze out and the grandkids get a kick out of having fizzy water on tap.

 

Cats are such beautiful creatures -- probably the most beautiful of Nature's creations.

They are perfect predators and total carnivores.

There were here on Earth 20 million years before humans. They were only domesticated sometime during the past 4 thousand years. And the question is did humans conquer them or did they conquer us?

You can tell from our teeth that cats, dogs, bears, monkeys, apes, and humans are all related. We all hunt. We all kill. We all eat what we kill.

I hunt more like a cat than most other hunters do. I am a bowhunter and I go out hunting alone, just like a cat.

 

I don’t disagree, I just have no use for them. I live in the woods where we have mountain lion, bobcat, coyote, owls, and a whole lot of missing cat notices posted up in town. Cats where I live don’t last long outdoors, and I’m not about to have a stinking poop box in my home.

Clumping litter solves the litter box problem.

You need to scoop it every evening. But you should. That's your kitty's toilet.

Anyway in a woodland environment like yours, as long as the cats have access to shelter, like a cat door on your home, they will outrun any other predators. They can normally climb trees for shelter too. So if there are trees then the cats will be fine.

Cats are the best predators of mice and rats there are. They keep these vermin under control.
