    Again this cannot be stated loud enough.
    Moonshine is for Losers and a dangerous concoction.
    Almost on a par with consuming Deep Fried Twinkies at a Carnival.
    Or a Fried Mars bars.
    Not merely a Novelty but a serious health risk.
    Again ... Name for me a Big Powerball winner or Lotto who
    once cashing-in makes a move to git some Moonshine.
    Not gonna happen.Because their is no thrill involved.
    Most those who buy or consume Moonshine do so because of
    Peer pressure.It's considered a way to act TOUGH.
    Like ... Look at me.I gots some shine and I'm gonna out
    drink you.It's the worse form of dumb drinking since Wood Alcohol
    Poisoning was commonplace in the Depression and beyond.
    Moonshine can be hazardous due I it's Metanol nature.Plus
    lead poising from old still.
    There is no need to drink the rot-gut crap.
    But it's considered a badge of courage to brave the Illicit
    nectar just because.It's basically a Cracker thing.
    Low-bred,ill-educated if educated at all Appalachian whites
    seem intent on the concoction.Because it's inbred.
    Part of their culture.

    Todays supper/breakfast at 7:30 a.m. after my graveyard shift:

    - ramen noodle soup with vegies and a salmon steak cooked in it

    - red/white wine cocktail with mango and moonshine.

    I have a couple of dozen basic recipes that my mom taught me before sending me off to college and fraternity.

    At the frat house we first shared the cooking.

    Then we got ourselves an Italian blonde to cook for us. She got to eat free.

    I learned a few more recipes from her, enough to qualify me as a chef in a local Italian restaurant. At the restaurant I was well schooled in Italian cuisine.

    It is amazing what the Italians can do with a can of stewed tomatoes !!!

    The Italian blonde was the current girlfriend of one of the frat brothers.

    Her food was to die for.

    Her body was to die for.

    They broke up however and then she did not want to see him or us again.

    We expelled him from the frat house for that infraction/crime.

    Even so, she never came back.

    Moral:

    Hell hath no fury as an Italian woman scorned.

    Out of respect for Smartie and the rest of the bar patrons, I've kept my mouth shut on some of your posts, but I would like to suggest that you refrain from voicing your thoughts from a judgmental position of which you obviously do not know truth nor facts on the subject.
