50% seems like a lot for driving your car.
Like here, take my car. Rack up the miles and wear and tear. Pick up people that may smell like old fish and may have a bed bug stuck on a sock and Ill give you 50% of the profit I make.

I know this guy who drives for Uber. I cant say I trust him to be honest. He has said he has made up to $800 in a few days when it snowed. I have no clue how many miles he drove or how many people he picked up. He lives pretty far from where he works and will pick up people on his way to work that are going in that direction and the same going home. That I know.

No kidding. That doesn't sound like the police sirens around here.

    Picture this.
You see a stop sign. You notice a cop sitting in an adjacent parking lot so you pay double attention to stop at the sign. You know every time a cop stops you, it never ever turns out well. But you learned to keep your mouth shut. Smile and nod. Follow directions. Like a mime but not really. You stop. Count to 3. One, two, three and go. You think, come on and tell me I didn't stop for that sign now. Then you hear this.

it is not good, you can get sued driving for uber during accidents. i don't think it can be a limited liability corporation because it is a personal car.

you can share a car 12 hours each with someone else if you must eat to survive due to no other economic opportunities, split the costs down the middle for commercial insurance and repairs.

For some strange reason I like the sound of Civil Defense sirens.
It has me feeling like part of air bombings during WWII.
Like what Britain had to endure. It has a creepy yet calming effect.
As if the end is near.If only Tornado's and Hurricanes used civil
    defense sirens.
    Oh ... They do.

Uber provides $1M passenger insurance. You only have to have full coverage. Still kicking the idea around... seems a waste to let the car sit idle all day while I work. ;)

their might be added wear and tear on the vehicle, and all the headaches that come with being landlord.

but if you endeavor in this, enjoy free market capitalism and i wish you well in your pursuit of happiness.

Well.....I am all moved into the temporary residence. Moved the cats over this morning. They have hid amongst all the furnishing and don't like the change up. Finally was able to make some room and get the puter and TV up and running.

The whole condo looks like a storage unit with no room to move around. Truly it sucks. Its going to take a couple of weeks before there is some minor confortability.

We moved all my stuff around 630pm and was done getting in by 948pm. I took last night off. But am beat just with what we did.

17 and half years down the tubes now nothing more than.....In the End.

Push, pile up, store, sell or give away enough nonessential stuff to create a corner of relative comfort, ideally with immediate access to the kitchen and bath. Think cell - go full monk - and thrive. I bet you feel better already just thinking about it. ;-)

Yeah I just got done doing that. Got most of the furniture where I want it. There garage is stacked to the ceiling. Which it was that way before I moved my stuff in. My brother had a lot of stuff from when our Mother and Grandmother passed. 5 years and he says he hasn't had time to go thru things. He wasn't kidding.

Cant smoke in the place either. Even tho I'm trying to quit. Its just another minor discomfort. As I like to sit in front of the puter with my coffee and a cigarette. Especially in winter.

Found all the cats.....they're under the sofa. Still wont come out. Already I am missing the dog. As he would stay by me. I really hate she got to keep my dog.

Well, on the bright side, we will not have to put up with that kind of crap once our politicians all convert to Islam. OTH, we will really miss beer. ;-)
