Raccoons have red eyes when you spotlight them at night.

So do mountain lions and coyotes.

Deer's eyes are greenish blue. Same with feral cats.

    Red is bad.

    Greenish blue is good.

I would relocate them to God's Heaven with a 5.56x45 varmint round each. Same for skunks. Both are destructive varmints.

Bats and skunks are the infamous rabies vectors. Gotta keep your dogs and cats away from them both.

Then we will have to agree to disagree on this. If they are not aggressive other than raiding a food supply, and have left my cats alone, then I will support their right to life.

Any signs of illness or aggression, and the deed will be done.

Mornin', Sunshine. You put the coffee on yet?

After last nights thunderstorms and a early rising neighbor (seriously Dude, 3 am?) I slept through my alarm, which NEVER happens. I need all the coffee I can get....

I liked your post because you made the coffee. The rest may get you quiet time in an underground bunker...… savvy? ;)

Rarely do we have skunks, might have the two legged variety once in a while. Racoons are the animal that you have to watch out for, if you encounter one don't try to pet it.

For brunch after my extended 14 hour graveyard shift:

    - classic ham & eggs (scrambled)

    - grapefruit juice to wash it down with.

Today is my Friday same as everybody else.

But my day was over at 10 a.m.

Don't really feel like drinking today though.

I am still roasting a whole chicken in the oven for dinner tonight and homemade chicken noodle vegie soup the next few days.

I don’t get skunks either. Too high in elevation at 6100’. My predators are Cooper’s hawks, raccoons, coyotes, and mountain lions. Get the occasional dumpster diving black bear also.

Not to be confused with a skunky cigar.Partigas cigars have a rich
history but they end up smelling like burnt cow poop. That and Upman
cigars were my cigar of choice in the 80's and most the 90's.
Speaking of cigars ... Crownline would make for a good cigar maker.
Like Diamond Crown which is a very nice, but expensive brand of
    premium cigars.

Dafuq you going on about again? What is so difficult about a down to earth conversation where we don’t have to go off on a tangent into the twilight zone? Why are you so intent on spinning everything off into no mans land? Stop being such a weirdo.

We were staying at the Chisos Basin in the Big Bend and there were four legged skunks everywhere, they walked around like they were special guests. It was an amazing sight.

Evenin, folks. Dominos Pizza and sweet tea for din-din.

Still purging house and ran across a set of silverware (1948 silverplate) I inherited and had stored in a closet. Been fun tracking down the brand, pattern, etc. Its beautiful after polishing, but not worth a great deal since silverplate cant be melted down. Looking into a silver locator place that sells by the piece.

    Keeps me off the streets...

In the 1930s, parents were encouraged to build 'baby cages' to assure babies who lived in apts got enough sunshine and fresh air.

There were times when I wanted to put my kids in a cage. Never did....but it was tempting. We went to Chicago once and I had my daughter on a leash. I didnt want to lose her in a crowd.
